i <br /> BOARD of SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES <br /> WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 1 , 1985 <br /> PRESENT; Selectman Thomas, Selectman Terry, Executive Secretary Joseph Murphy' and <br /> Tern Counsel Joseph Reardon <br /> GUESTS: Ernie Virgilio, Monica McNally, James T. Reynolds, Vernon Thomas, Delores <br /> Dong, Jayne Tavares, AnLhony Ferragamo, Sergeant Bcvacq a, off icer Umina <br /> and William Pao l ini <br /> Selectman Terry convened the meeting at 7:05 p.m. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to approve the minbLes of January 8th administrative meeting <br /> and executive session as well as minutes for the January 9Lh regular meeting and <br /> executive session. Selectman Terry seconded. Motion carried. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> 7:06 — Selectmen conducted a hearing on an application file] by James I . Smith and <br /> John A. Largay , Jr. d/b/a oc. .ry Trading Post to transfer the all—alcholic beverage <br /> license to James T. Reynolds of gest Harwich, Ma. <br /> Mr. Reynolds explained to the Board that he relocated to the Cape January of last <br /> year. He was a previous member of the Elks in Rutherford as well as a member of <br /> the Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis in Woodbridge. <br /> Selectman Terry asked if he had been involved with any other liquor establishment <br /> any where else. <br /> Mr. Reynolds replied no. <br /> It was asked if there would be any structural changes to the building or signs. <br /> Mr. Reynolds replied that everything would stay the same, <br /> i <br />' Selectman Thomas questioned why 'his wifes name was Crossed off the first page. <br /> Mr. Reynolds pointed out the license was going to be in his name and page three of <br /> the app l ica t ion -did- show that his i f e - ou l d be a fifty percent partner. <br /> Mr. Reynolds was asked if the same amount of space would be used for alcohol. Mr. <br /> Reynolds pointed out everything would stay the same. <br /> Being no one in attendance for or against this transfer Selectman Thomas roved to <br /> close the hearing. Selectman Terry seconded. Motion carried. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to approve the transfer from James K. Smith and John A. <br /> Largay, Jr. to Mr. James T. Reynolds, Selectman Terry seconded. Lotion carried. <br /> 7:15 — Selectmen conducted a public hearing on petition 4-664 of the New England <br /> Telephone Company. <br />
