Reardon <br /> Guests: Monica McNally, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Hoeyer, Priscilla Siam, Vernon Thomas, <br /> Anne Shaw, Dr. Nicholson, Robert O'Regan, Peter Muse, Mary Duddy, Leo <br /> Tr o,; . Ed Martin, Ernie Virgilio, Chief Frye, Charlie Buckingham, Buff <br /> Chace, Cheryl Hicks, Sheila Pockntt, Marcia Busby , <br /> Selectman Terry convened the meeting at 7 p.m. <br /> Appointments & Mri�n <br /> 7:00 — Selectmen presented Mr. Hoyer with a- plaquefor his dedicated service t <br /> the Housing Authority. , Mrs.- Hom yer was presented a bouquet of flowers. <br /> Old Business <br /> 1. Mr. Murphy explained that the Board on April. 3rd continued the hearing on cable <br /> t.v. to give anyone-!interestd ir'-.r,s in cable t.v'. in Mashp e time to -submit -it in <br /> i <br /> writing. <br /> Selectmen received approximately 65 p tiLions from concerned citizens who would <br /> like to see the process go forward. <br /> Selectman Thomas pointed out the next step would be to establish an advisory committee <br /> consisting of seven members. Mrs. Thomas also felt that the committee should meet <br /> with Town Counsel. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to begin the procos for cable t.v. as well as establish a <br /> seven person advisory c mmitt e. Selectman Terry seconded. All were in favor. <br /> . The Tern Accountant advised the Selectmen she declined to authorize two vouchers <br /> for payment. The vouchers were from the Natural Rbsource Expense Account for the <br /> construction of a kennel for the town's K-9. Mrs. Polka feels this should come from <br /> the Police Expense Account. <br /> Selectmen approve of taking this from the Police Expense Account and also allow for <br /> a transfer of funds. <br /> Being no further old business the Board roved onto 'new business. <br /> New Business <br /> 1. Selectmen received a letter of resignation from Cheryl Ha ver as administrative <br /> secretary in the Inspections department. <br /> Selectman Hanson asked that the appropriate letter be drafted and asked that the <br /> Personnel Board proceed with advertising this position. <br /> . Selectmen received an invitation from the Massachusett# s Selectmen' s Association <br /> to attend a Land Use Workshop on Saturday, April 27, 195.E in oak bluffs, Martha' s <br /> Vineyard. <br /> Selectman Thomas will be attending and Selectman Terry will get back to Mr. Murphy �� <br />
