by the town at the time of settlement on March 6, 1984, <br /> Mr. Murphy informed the Board that relative to the grievances filed by Sheldon Hamblin <br /> and Richard Martini the position of the Town is it is- not arbitrable and the town has <br /> filed a court action to stay the arbitration. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to appoint Thomas Fukdala as Town Planner for a three year period <br /> r tro-active to September. Selectman Hansom seconded. Motion carried. ' <br /> Vernice Polka was in to discuss with the Selectmen her concerns with the wages account <br /> of the Department of Public [forks. Selectmen felt Ernie Virgilio should be here for <br /> this, so the Board deferred this until Mr. Virgilio could arrive. <br /> Selectman Thomas advised the Board that Mr. Codlesky is concerned with the cut in his <br /> budget from $2,000 back. to $500. <br /> Mr. Murphy poin-ted out that the equipment is not much to pick from and therefor <br /> departments are not turning to surplus 'equipment . <br /> Selectman Hanson feels that all departments should make a Dish list for Mr. Godleski <br /> as well as drafting a letter to Mr. Godleski asking hire to stay on. <br />' The Board discussed with Vernice Polka and Ernie Virgilio the concerns raised by the <br /> Town Accountant as to the use of the wage account, foreman differential, issuance of <br /> purchase orders and chapter 90 projects. <br /> Selectman Manson requested a memo seat to the Attaquin Park Committee asking for their <br /> recommendations. <br /> i <br /> Mr. Murphy informed the Board that negotiations have been deferred until after they <br /> j meet with the Finance Committee. <br /> i <br /> i <br /> Chief Hartin requested an evaluation of his job performance. <br /> Deputy chief cooper stopped in to see it any action was taken on the general orders <br /> he submitted. <br /> Being no further business the meeting adjourned at a.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> o�w a&6 a <br /> Joyce M.
