Selectman Hanson absent <br /> Guests: Mr. French, Mr. & Mrs. Caruso, Monica Ictally, Dolores Kong, Chief <br /> Frye, Deputy Chief Cooper, Doris Hendricks-, <br /> Selectman Terry convened the meeting of July 10, 1985 at 7 p.m. <br /> A. ointments & Hearin <br /> 7:00 -- Mr. French explained this request was to rectify a situation which <br /> occurred when the original subdivision was done. <br /> } Mr, Virgilio, DPW Director stated he has spoken with Mr. French and <br /> has no objection to this request. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to approve Request #2912, Plan 932+ of the <br /> Commonwealth Electric Company, Selectman Terry seconded. All were <br /> in favor. <br /> 7:05 Mr. Caruso was in to present the Board with the materials requested <br /> from hire at the Ju-ne 26th meeting of Selectmen. Mr. Caruso had' <br /> requested permission to move a house over the Popponeset Island <br /> Bridge to Surf Drive. Selectman Hanson requested an opinion from a <br /> structural eng-ineer as to whether the bridge could hold up under <br /> these conditions. Also requested was pro6f of insurance from the <br /> company moving the house to cover any damages made to the bridge or <br /> town roadways during the move. Mr. Caruso submitted all necessary <br /> materials. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to grant Mr. .a.ruso a permit to move a house <br /> across town roadways. Selectman Terry seconded. All were in favor. <br /> Old Business <br /> 1. Selectmen reviewed the memorandum of agreement between the Town of Ma hpe <br /> and Greater Redman's Algonquin Young Workers Organized Learning Foundation, <br /> Inc. raywolf,lnc. to operate the museum, <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to adopt the agreement as submitted. Selectman Terry <br /> seconded. All were in favor. <br /> . Selectman Thomas roved to appoint Judy Mills, Denise watson, Diane Connolly, <br /> Paul Drake, Robert Fernald, Ionie Nickerson and Frederick Peters to the <br /> Pans and R creation Advisory Committee. Selectman Terry seconded, All <br /> were in favor. <br /> . Selectmen re ek ed communication from the Director of Bureau of Accounts <br /> relative to article 84 of the May 6, 1985 annual town meeting. Mr. Murphy <br /> stated that with the approval of the Board he would take corrective action. <br /> Selectmen approved and asked that a copy of all communication relative to <br /> matter be forwarded to the Conservation Commission. <br />
