Murphy and Town Counsel , Joseph J. R ardo_n <br /> uest : Vernon Thomas, Eugene Narr, Ernest Virgilio, Bill Lamb, Hannah Lamb, <br /> Diehard A. Cook, Claire Contardo, J.L. Contardo, Jannette Welch, Delores <br /> Dong, Monica M a-Ily-Hough <br /> Selectman Terry convened the meeting at 7 'p.m. <br /> Selectman Thomas roved to accept the minutes of July 9 administrative meeting and <br /> July 10 regular meeting as submitted. Selectman Hanson seconded. All were in <br /> favor. <br /> Appointments & Hearin <br /> 7:00 - Mrs. Hannah Lamb filed a complaint of vicious or barbing dogs against a <br /> dog owned or harbored by tiJannette Welch. <br /> Mrs. iamb explained that while she was wanting her dog on Monday, duly 1 <br /> a red vehicle approached her asking if she had seen a large white dog. <br /> The women then advised her to take the furthest route as this dog did <br /> not like her deg, Mrs. Lamb proceeded to take the furthest mute when <br /> the white dog came from the o- ds causing a dog fight. The red ear <br /> returned and the women tried to break up the fight. Mrs. Lamb started <br /> to wally away with her dog when the shite dog returned biting her on the <br /> left hand leaving three scars, Mrs. Lamb would like to be reimbursed <br /> for the medical bills related to her injuries. <br /> Mrs. Welch explained that she turned the corner and saw the dog. She <br /> called 'her do'g who was four feet from the other dQg. Sfie proceeded to tell <br /> { <br /> Mrs. Lamb she should not walk by the house anymore as her 'dog does not <br /> care for her dog when Mrs. Lamb' s dog turned around and hit her clog on <br /> the ear. Mrs. Welch told Mrs. Lamb- not to get involved with the dog <br /> fight and then snapped her leash causing the fight to break up she did <br /> not know Mrs. Lamb was bit until a half hour later when Mrs. Lamb care <br /> to her house. Mrs. Welch felt she could not at this time of ford - to <br /> pay for the medical bills and further stated that she did feel that ' <br /> .you could prove that it was her dog that bit Mrs. Lamb <br /> Selectman Thomas requested the dog be restrained and if not the dog will <br /> have to leave town, <br /> Mrs. Welch was told to also license the dog. <br /> Selectman Terry suggested Mrs. Lamb' s bill be paid. <br /> Selectman asked both parties to discuss" this situation and return with <br /> some sort of agreement. <br /> 7:1.5 -- Mr. Kevin Perky owner of Perry LePews Inc. , was in to discuss his <br /> proposal for animal control . <br /> Selectmen told Mr. Perry that the Personnel Board has interviewed for <br /> the position of animal control officer but has not yet recommended an <br />
