BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> CT <br /> Minutes <br /> Administrative Meeting <br /> Wednesday, October 1 , 1985 <br /> Present: , Selectman Thomas, Selectman Hanson, Selectman Torry, and Executive <br /> Secretary , Joseph F. Murphy <br /> Guests: Attorney Leslie—Ann Morse, Representative Cahir,. Charles Buckingham, <br /> Charles Lawrence and Noland il'son <br /> Selectmen met to bring everyone up to date relative to the meeting at Congressman <br /> Studds office regarding the water problem in the Ashumet area. <br /> Selectman Thomas explained that a letter will be prepared for both Board' s of <br /> Selectmen to sign. The letter should be ready to be signed by Thursday. <br /> Congressman Studds will get the proper agency to address this letter to. <br /> Mr. Buckingham felt the Board of Health needed a definition of the plume outline. <br /> Selectman Thomas asked the Board of Health to forward any information they might <br /> have relative to the test results to Senator Kennedy ' s office and Congressman <br /> Studds. <br /> Mr. Buckingham stated the Board of Health would be responsible for getting the <br /> test results to the e 1 c tmn and <br /> -they- would forward the 1f ormat ion from <br /> there. <br /> i <br /> Selectman 'Thomas stated there should be a sub—committee formed to work on just <br /> this problem,, Members should consist of one delegate from the Board of Health, <br /> one delegate from the Selectmen, one or two residents -from th Tri 'Town Circle area <br /> and Thomas Sexton. <br /> Selectmen designated Selectman Thomas as its delegate. <br /> Being no further business the meeting adjourned at 9 a.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> §oyce M.
