BOARD of SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES <br /> ICED , OCTOBER o, 1985 <br /> Present : Selectman Terry, Selectman Thomas and Selectman Hanson <br /> Absent: Executive Secretary, Joseph F. Murphy at a conference in Philadelphia) <br /> Guests: Monica McNally and Carol Costa-Crowell <br /> Selectman Terry convened the meeting at 7 p.m. <br /> Appointments & Hearin <br /> [done <br /> Old Business <br /> 1 ' Selectmen were requested by Michael Pietrowi to remove his article from the <br /> special town meeting warrant 'requesting $10,000 for a trip to Chita. Mr. PieLrowski <br /> informed the Board that funding will not be available until July 1986 from any <br /> grants. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to withdraw the article. Selectman Terry seconded. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 2Selectmen received communication from the Chief of Police relative to their <br /> inquiry of a mobile home on Central Road. <br /> The Chiet reported thaL. no violation of the Town By- Laws under Section 4.2.4 exist. <br /> He also reported that Mr. Labella is living its New Seabury. <br /> Selectmen reviewed the jury questionnaires on the chairman' s desk and voted to <br /> to accept the 55 eligible 'individuals for jury duty. -- A list of those". individuals <br /> is attached. <br /> 4 Selectmen reviewed a memorandum of agreement that codifies the standards of the <br /> sick leave bank. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to accept the memorandum of agreement between Focal -254 and <br /> the T wn. Selectman Terry seconded. Motion carried. <br /> Being no further old business the Board went onto :view business. <br /> New Business <br /> 1 The Board received two letters of resignation one from Jayne Hendricks from the <br /> Attaquin Park Committee effective immediately and one from Virginia Solomon from <br /> the Mashpee Arts Council , <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to accept the letters of resignation. Selectman Manson se onded. <br /> All were in favor. <br /> 2 Selectmen reviewed a memo from the Executive Secretary rela'Live to the distribution <br /> of Town By-Laws and Zoning By-Law. Mr. Murphy recommended that Selectmen meet with <br /> the Town CLerk, Town Planner and Building -Inspector on a Tuesday morning to discuss <br /> this matter. <br />
