Reardon <br /> Guests: Vanessa Parts, Monica McNally, Leo Howard, Mark Wetzel , Ernie Virgilio, <br /> Deputy Chief Cooper, Chief of Police, Curtis Frye, Charles Rowley, <br /> Paul Botello, Carol Costa—Crowell <br /> Selectman Terry convened the meeting at 7 p.m. <br /> A2pointments & Hearings <br /> 7'00 — Selectmen conducted a public hearing on ar quest submitted by Com Electric <br /> for permission to install and maintain underground cable on Great Neck road north <br /> to Sugar Pine Circle in Mashpee. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to approve petition 9376 of Commonwealth Electric Co. <br /> Selectman Ferry seocnded. Motion carried. <br /> ON Business <br /> 1 Selectmen reviewed a communication from the Department of the Air Force relative <br /> to water pollution in the Ashumet. area. <br /> Mr. Murphy suggested. the Selectmen may want to consult with Falmouth before responding, <br /> Selectman Thomas pointed out she has already spoken with Falmouth. <br /> Selectmen r ee ved a memo from the Board of Health relative to a joint meeting <br /> on November 18th. <br /> Mr. Murphy was requested to set this up. <br /> Appointments & _Hearings <br /> 7:30 — Ernie was in to discuss with the Board the proposed extension of the Hi hwood <br /> Water System. ' Ernie presented to the Burd copies of all permits relative to this <br /> project . <br /> New Business <br /> 1 The Board of Appeals requested the services of the Town Engineer ro review two <br /> sets of plans for cluster sub-divisions. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to 'authort e Mr. Rowley to advise the Board of Appeals on <br /> these two matters. Selectman Hanson seconded. All were in favor. <br /> Selectmen received an application from Alan Industries, Inc. requesting a permit <br /> to locate and garage a large bus at the New S akb ry Rotary. <br /> Mr. Murphy pointed out this not the jurisdiction of Lhe Selectmen rather the zoning <br /> Board of Appeals. No action was taken. <br /> Selectmen received a letter of interest from Elizabeth tiostutler to serve on <br /> the Mashpee Youth commission. <br />
