Murphy <br /> Guests: Carol Costa—Crowell , Anne Shaw, Joyce Howell , Anthony Fiorentini , Anne <br /> Tanneyhill , Monica Mc ]ally, Chet Garland, heryt Hawv r, Bill Hanrahan, <br /> Vernon Thomas, Bob DLory, Representative cahir, Ernie Virgilio, Delores <br /> Kong, Ben Lofchie, John Ferguson, Fred bl rthe, - Thomas Fud ia, Eugene <br /> Narr, Attorney Hewitt, Deputy Cooper, Ed Maguire, Joanne Ferragamo, <br /> Tory Ferragamo <br /> Selectman Terry convened the meeting p.m. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to 'approve the minutes of November 6 and 13 regular meeting. <br /> Selectman Hanson seconded. All were in favor. <br /> A.Peointments & Hearin s <br /> 7:00 — fir. Bill Hanrahan was in as the representative of the Board ofeals <br /> pP to <br /> discuss the problems they are encountering with enforcement of the zoning by—laws. <br /> Mr. Hanrahan feels the proule€ns are either by ommission of just having one person <br /> in the inspections _ofic which are allowing violations to 000urr. The Board o <br /> Appeals feels they houid explore the possibility of hiring an Assistant who <br /> would act as ars enforcement officer. <br /> Selectman Thomas stated that the Building Inspecter has been asked tog i e input <br /> as -to the filling of this position.. <br /> Mr. Murphy pointed out t-hat this is scheduled to be discussed at next Wednesdays <br /> meeting of the Selectmen. <br /> 7:05 — Selectmen h L d a joint meeting to fill the vacancy on the Board of Assessors <br /> that has existed since November i, 198- . <br /> Mr, DeLory explained that the Board o -Assessors aloe with Mrs Hanson <br /> g met with the <br /> candidates who dere Cheryl Hawe , Arthur Morley and Kenneth Anderson. Mr. DeLor <br /> y <br /> painted out that after the interviews it was agreed upon by the Board of Assessors <br /> that Mr. Morley is the most qualified. <br /> Mr. Murphy advised the Board that pursuant to Chapter 41 a roll cal t vote of the <br /> Board would be necessary. <br /> Selectman Thomas — Mr. Morley.) Selectman Hanson — Mr. Morley and Selectman Terry <br /> Mr. Morley. <br /> Old Business <br /> 1 The Division o Marine Fisheries notified the Board of Selectmen <br /> that they have <br /> redefined the Prohibited area of the Mashpee River. Said notice outline the area. <br />
