i <br /> i <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> minutes <br /> i <br /> Wednesday, november 20, 1985 <br /> i a e 2. <br /> i <br /> New Business <br /> 1 Mr. Murphy asked the Board to accept the fid of Colonial Car Lease Inc. of <br /> Plymouth to supply the town with a Chevrolet - passenger van for $255.12 monthly <br /> with an option 'to purchase the vehicle for $4, 525 at the end of the 36 months. <br /> i <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to accept the bid of Colonial Car Lease Inc.. Selectman <br /> Hanson seconded. All were in favor. <br /> Selectmen were also asked to retire the Bronco permanently from the Lown' s fleet. <br /> Mr. Murphy stated that they would accept sealed bids to dispose of the vehicle, <br /> Selectman Thomas asked if there,-,-were any other vehicles which should also be <br /> disposed of. Mr. Murphy explained there were four vehicle all together. <br /> Selectman Thomas �-7oved to accept bids for disposal of the four vehicles. Selectman <br /> Hanson seconded. All were in favor. <br /> 2 Selectman Thomas moved to adept the lle t -soforesignaLion from Susan Eagan <br /> from the Mashpee Arts council . Selectman Danson seconded. All were in favor. <br /> Selectmen reviewed a memo from the Attaquin Park Committee requesting the <br /> Selectmen to endorse a letter they have drafted to Walter Bickford relative to <br /> concerns for the ashpeeWaeby Pond. <br /> Selectmen agreed and asked the the Attaquin Park. Committee are notified. <br /> + Selectmen were asked to authorize the e pendi Lure of $3,490 from Legal and <br /> Engineering for engineering assistance relative to Seconsett island load. <br /> Mr. Murphy explained that Lhe issue is where the road is. It is bel4 ved that <br /> a commercial business is operating on what appears to be part of town-owned <br /> property. <br /> Selectman Thomas moved to expend $3,490 from Legal & Engineering for engineering <br /> services of Seconsett Island Road. Selectman Hanson seconded. All were in favor. <br /> 5 The- Library Building Committee requ sted approval from Line Board of Selectmen <br /> to clear the new library .site by the Mashpee Department of Public Works. <br /> Mr. Murphy - tared that Mr. Shaughnessy would be getting permission from Field' s <br /> Point as -well . <br /> Mr. Virgilio was asked if he would have the time to do this.
