1 <br /> BOARD of SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES <br /> WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 1985 <br /> Present: Selectman Thoiaas, Selectman Terry, Selectman Hanson, Executive Secretary <br /> ,Joseph F. Murphy and T wn Cbunsel , Joseph J. ar on <br /> Guests: Edward Mitchell , Ruby M. Mills, Ludie Williams, Carol Costa—Crowell , <br /> Lesley Bourne, Chief Frye, Deputy Cooper Anthony Fiorentini <br /> Aepointments & Hearin <br /> 7:00 Selectmen were scheduled to conduct a public hearing on a liquor license <br /> violation of the Wigwam. <br /> Selectmen we're asked to deferr opening the hearing for 15 minutes. Selectmen <br /> agreed. <br /> Old Business <br /> 1 Selectmen received communication from Morris K r- n r relative to the delay <br /> in clearing the legal alignment of the entirety of Great Oak load. Selectmen <br /> deferred action until town counsel returned to the meeting so he may bring the <br /> Board up to date on this issue. <br /> Selectmen reviewed a memo from the Historical Commission regarding the return <br /> of records from the office of Hale and Dorr in Boston. <br /> Mr. Murphy advised the Board that Attorney Bill Lee has informed this office that <br /> he is in the process of pulling their files out and will advise when they are <br /> finished. <br /> Selectmen asked that the Historical Commission be advised of this. <br /> Selectmen were informed 'by Andrew Gottlieb that they were unable to meet <br /> with the Public Access Board at their November 14th meeting but .has sent a <br /> letter to Mr. Austin requesting the Board to investigate the situation at the <br /> state owned launching ramp -on Mashpee Fond. <br /> 4 Selectman Thomas advised the Board that Representative CahIr has a texicolgist <br /> coming to the Hashpee Middle School on Tuesday evening to answer ani q estion <br /> people may have relative to the Ashumet water matter. <br /> Selectman Thomas asked that a memo go out to the two water commitLee members <br /> asking if they are interested in serving on a consolidated committee as the <br /> Board feels they should now both work as one. <br /> New Business <br /> . 1 Selectmen were advised by the Cape Cod Planning and Economic Development Commission <br /> of a hearing at 11.:00 a.m. in Rooms 11. & 12 of f.the Barnstable County Superior Court <br /> House on the DPW Snow and Ice Control Program. <br /> Both Selectmen 1anson and Thomas recomm nded that Ernie Virgilio plan to attend. <br />
