" 4 <br /> Board of selectmen <br /> I'i'liutes <br /> Wednesday , May 14 , 1986 <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> . <br /> ACJ ointments & Hearin _( continued) <br /> . <br /> Mr. Virgilio explained the purpose was to correct a drainage problem <br /> that exists and to correct the problem of plowing snow on privately- <br /> owned <br /> rivately_owned property. Mr. Virgilio pointed out he is looking for <br /> permission to continue whith phase one of the reconstruction which <br /> would go from the intersection to within 100 feet. of the wetlands . <br /> It was pointed out the Conservation Commission would -determine what <br /> would be 100 feet from the wetlands . <br /> Several residents were in attendance and expressed support of the <br /> town proceeding with phase one . <br /> Mr. Herbert Swanson a property. owner on the right side of the boat <br /> yard stated he is opposed because the layout is shown corning over <br /> and taking a considerable amount of his prcpert . which creates <br /> a problem, with his septic system being within the layout. Mr. <br /> Swanson would like to know what could be done about his sept-.c <br /> system as well as wha will pair for any expenses incurred:. <br /> 'lawn Ccunsel painted out he would have tc ccntact the Board of Health <br /> and apply for a Variance from the provision of Title 5 . He also <br /> pointed out that he would need a sketch plan showing the layout and <br /> septic system. Mr . Reardon also stated if' the septic s stern is <br /> within the layout it l.s therefore or town property and town meeting <br /> action would be needed for ars easement over town-owned land. <br /> Being nc further discussion the Board voted to continue the hearing <br /> until Tune 18 , 1986 at 7 p.m. <br /> Mr. Virgilic advised the Board that connection to the water main <br /> been rade for the emergency water supply at Okway Bair Larding, <br /> and tomorrow they will begin to come from the meter box with <br /> spigots . Mr_ Virgilic feels the town should think about what <br /> will be clone to prevent freezing this Winter. <br /> Selectman Hansom asked if Mr . Virgilic had none any research <br /> on frost free silcox. selectman Hanscn will meet with Ernie <br /> at a later date to discuss the pcSsibill"E-Y or using this. <br /> 7 : 59 -- Selectmen conducted a hearing on the complaint received of <br /> the Stendahl Place Condominium Association to show cause <br /> why the alcoholic beverage lices of Popponesset Corporation <br /> db Marketplace Cafe and Raw Bar should not be modified, <br /> suspended, revoked or cancel led. <br /> Mr . Myron Barr representative of the stendahl Place Condominium <br /> Association pointed out that last year there was co .sideratle <br /> noise coming from the Cafe and Raw Bar as well as being open <br /> until 1 : 30 a.m. Mr . Barr stated that Mr . Larry Drago had <br /> contacted hint and proposed that the Cafe woL:ld close at 10 <br /> and the music will end a-'[-- 10 . <br />
