Mr. Avetett had applied for the position as Truck river for the Highway Department. His -._ex science for the position is sufficient and he seems to shoe good alertness. The Personnel. Board rated him as good . Meeting with Mr. Green, Highway Surveyer a) Mr. Green stated thu t he hopes he can rein the Toy-m' s vote to give him per- mauent employees instead of part time, as he now has. The Personnel. Board suggested that he makes a survey on all other towns to see their schedule of work and how many employees thay have both part and full time. Mr. Green stated that he already has din a survey on other towns and they have more full time employees and not many part timers. He did agree to make another survey for the work that has to be done and how many employees it will take for this work. If the Town votes that he can have the tWo employees that are now part time to be changed to full time employees, he would only have part timers in an emergency situation. b The four highest rated applicants for the Truck Driver s position ere discussed. Mr. Green examined the applications and he accepted the Board's recornmenda- tion of the first three. lie will now make his choice and sere us a written tten notice of such. The person hired will start at the rate of $3.04 per hour. c) Secretary's position was tabled until. fir. Green establishes the position through the special town meeting. Mr. Clendenin stated the Board will discuss this position and it is found to be a necessity, they will stand behind him at the Torn Meeting. Mr. C. also stated that Mr. Green is to supplywith as much of information for this as possible. ti
