Mashpee Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> ,lune 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Waquoit Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Planning Board Members Present: Chairman Mary Waygan, Dennis Balzarini, Joe Cummings, <br /> Robert (Rob)Hansen, David Kooharian, David Weeden <br /> Also: Evan Lehrer-Town Planner, Charles Rowley-Consulting Engineer <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting was opened with a quorum in the Waquoit Meeting <br /> Room at Mashpee Town Hall by the Chair, at 7:02 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, The Chair <br /> welcomed attendees and asked that people addressing the Board do so using the microphone, stating <br /> their name and their business. The Pledge of allegiance was recited. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES--May 16, 2018 <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to accept as presented. Mr. Kooharian seconded the <br /> motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 7:05 p.m. Applicant: Blue Sky Towers, LLC.,Lessee (Town of Mashpee, Property Owner) <br /> Subject Property: t01 Red Brook Rd. (Assessor's Map 104, Lot 2) Fire Station #2 <br /> Request: Special Permit for a Personal Wireless service Facility as allowed by <br /> 174-25(H)(9) and 174-45.3 of the Mashpee Zoning Bylaw <br /> The appointed time having arrived, the Chair read for the record the Public Hearing Notice and opened <br /> the public hearing. It was noted that the Cape Cod Commission had jurisdiction over the issue, before <br /> it could be reviewed by the Planning Board, <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to continue the public hearing until after the Cape Cod <br /> Commission reviewed the application. <br /> Mr. Balzarini inquired whether the public could speak and Mr. Lehrer responded that the Planning <br /> Board was not empowered to act, or receive public comment, until the matter was considered by the <br /> Cape Cod Commission. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to continue the issue until September at 7:10 p.m. <br /> unless the Board hears otherwise from the Cape Cod Commission if it needs longer or shorter. <br /> Mr. Kooharian seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to refer the Blue Sky Towers,LLC application to the <br /> Cape Cod Commission. Mr. Kooharian seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Mr. Lehrer confirmed that he would keep the application packets until the issue returned from the Cape <br /> Cod Commission. A member of the public stated that the issue directly impacted his life and his <br /> house. Mr. Lehrer responded that the cell tower, at the height proposed, fell under the jurisdiction of <br /> the Cape Cod Commission as a Development of Regional Impact. Mr. Lehrer confirmed that the Cape <br /> 1 <br />
