i Personnel. Board Meeting Minutes of November 14 1983 Page 2 Review of Mail Police officer Jeremy Carter successfully completed the Bar exam. Absences from Meetings The Executive Secretary notified all Boards and Committees of the amend- ment adopted to the town by-laws through which members of Boards and Committees may be removed from office for excessive absences . Police Promotion Tests Board members were given a brochure for review and comment with reference to Police Probotion Tests which Chief Frye sent over . Psychologist Discussion A letter from . Robert D. Aron , Ph .D. was read into the minutes stating that he is a clinical psychologist. on the Cape and that tests specifically normed on police pop lations and which are currently used for police selection are available . Discussion was rade on the fact that the current Ph.D. being used to t st police applicants , Dr . Barry , is located Xn Stoneham . Manny motioned for the Board to reconsider another psychologist to administer police tests and that Chief Frye be asked to discuss this with the Board, Carrie said, that she had a list of psychologists which she would make available to the Board Evaluation Form The secretary reminded Board members that ars evaluation form for grading employees must be completed in the not foo distaht future as they should be sent out prior to budget preparation. Carrie said thatsho would have one for the Board to review by their next meeting. Comparison on Elected officials Manny asked for clarification on exactly what he should be doing for the comparison on elected officials . As there was no memo received from the Finance Committee to date on this subject , the secretary .was asked to write to Fred Blythe asking hire to clarify ghat exactly is to be done and the time frame , Meeting adjourned at 8 :25 p.m .
