Personne-1 Board Minutes <br /> Meeting of November- 5. 1984 <br /> Page 4 <br /> Meeting With Director of Public Works, cont. <br /> Discussion continued along the limes of prio.ritizing positions with Manny Glickmanrecom- <br /> mending training someone in the department that could be elevated into management. <br /> . <br /> Ernie Virgilio recapped on his attempt to reorganize his department last year stating <br /> that his original recommendation was that a pay differential be established for three <br /> Foreman positions and the creation of an assistant position be established. He said <br /> that the Board of Selectmen and Executive Secretary recommended that they go after a <br /> assistant and delete three positions. Noir it is his intention to go back to his original <br /> plan. <br /> Psychological Evaluation #- W. Ethier <br /> After reviewing the psychological evaluation from Dr~. Seymour on William Et:hier, the <br /> Personnel Board was in agreement with the evaluation and with the recommendation that <br /> schooling be continued. <br /> Yearly Evaluations <br /> The Board asked the secretary to send the yearly evaluation forms out to all departments <br /> which fall under~ the P.A.P. <br /> Memo From Executive Secretary <br /> The Board reviewed a letter dated October 31 from the Executive Secretary stating that <br /> he has never~ authorized his name to be used as a reference on any application submitted <br /> to the Personnel Board. He states that he has written recommendations for individuals <br /> and has permitted his name to be used as a reference for positions outside torn government. <br /> Vacation Time - R. Bevaegua <br /> The Board reviewed a memo from the Executive Secretary dated October 29 outlining the <br /> section of the Police contract, on annual leave. It is his opinion. that Sgt. Be acqua <br /> is ineligible for earned vacation .time during the period of July and August, 1983. The <br /> board asked that Sgt. Bevacqua be seat a copy of the Executive Secretary' s memo. <br /> Revocation of Authorization to Practice <br /> The Board reviewed a mento dated October 24 from John D.
