PERSONNEL BOARD MINUTES <br /> UTES <br /> MEETING OF JUNE 1 7, 1985 PACE <br /> Applicants for Police Officer <br /> The Board was asked by the Depute Chief and Police Chief, through a message with 'the <br /> secretary, if their would consider interviewing all candidates who passed the police <br /> examination. The Personnel Board felt that would be too many to interview and requested <br /> that the Chief and Deputy select ten qualifi d eandidates based on experience, education <br /> and general fitness. <br /> The Board voted to weight the oral examination as 50% and the written examination as 50%. <br /> i <br /> Article for Hiring of New Personnel &. Re-Classification <br /> Upon review of a memo from the Executive secretary requesting the Personnel Board to vote <br /> to change the Personnel By-Law, the Board requested that this be put on hold until their <br /> next meeting when all Board members are present. <br /> Animal Control Applications <br /> The Board reviewed the applications of those who applied for the Animal Control Officer <br /> position and set the date for interviews on July 8. <br /> Re-Organizational Meeting <br /> The Board requested that the re-organizational meeting be held at their next meeting when <br /> all Board members were present. <br /> Appointment of Secretary <br /> The Board appointed Marilyn Farren as their secretary for the next fiscal year. <br /> Management Consultant Survey <br /> Board members we're enlightened- that the Mass. - Municipal Association would be doing the <br /> management consultant survey of the salaries of department heads. <br /> Board meeting adjourned at p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> I�ri l en Farren, Secretary <br /> Personnel Board <br /> Mf <br />
