Personnel Board Minutes- Meeting inutes- Meetine of August 191 1986 Page Upgrade of Lifeguard TheBoardreviewed a memo dated August 15 from Wendy Rubin requesting that Holly Madden be upgraded to Head Lifeguard until the enol of the season as Tim Fitzgerald is leaving early to start college .' Ben Lofohie moved to upgrade Molly Madden effective as of August 1+8 from a Lifeguard to a Head Li feg-uar l through Labor Day . Manny Glickman seconded . All in favor . Step Increase - - _ Mosley The Board reviewed the annual ' step increase for Amelia Mosley , Ad . Clerk to Elections & Registration ., Based upon the favorable evaluation , they approved a one step increase in pay for Mrs : Mosley . Asst .. Town Planner In terViews The Board reviewed correspondence from the Town Planner dated . August 1 and August 19 relative to Assistant Town Planner Interviews . He requests participation of the Personnel Board in these in.tervie rs . No one from Personnel will attend as the position has not been included in the scope of the Pers-onn' el Administrationf Plan Resignation of Asst . Health Agent s The Board reviewed a letter~ dated -August 19 from 'Judith Giorgio resigning from the position of Asst . Health Inspector effective as of September 19 . Manny Glickman asked if there was a reason why she resigned . The secretary said that she was moving to Boston and would be looping for a job in the city after doing some traveling . Fixe chief ' s Contract The Board reviewed Chief art.in ' s contract recently executed to be effective until June , 1 989 . Salary for Asst . Shellfish Wardens The Board reviewed a. memo dated August 7 fr m the EXeeutive Secretary stat- ing tating that the Board of Selectmen voted to approve the pay schedule for the Asst - 8hellfis.h Wardens retroactive to July 1 as follows : Earl Cash , $420 monthly ; Andrew . Carmichael , -$60 . m.onthly a-nd Jerry Monaghan - $60 monthly , Recommendations of Police Candidates The Board of Selectmen selected- the�following individuals for psychological testing an7d }ire-employment 4phy.sicals pending their"' appointments as full- time polices officers as per recommendations from Personnel' and Chief Frye : Michael Sutton , Matthew Clancy and. Pandy 'DeMel'lo . Commendation' of P l-ice Officers The Board reviewed orrespo.n fence from -Chief Frye and Deputy Chief Cooper to- Detective Dams , Detective Fish , Sgt .
