Gilligan, Manuel Glickman, Carrie Saunders and C. Ben. Lofchie. Ben Lofchie was asked by the Clerk, Caroline M. Gilligan to conduct the meeting in the absence of chairman Sullivan. MrS. Gilligan was .not feeling well) . Acting Chairman Lofchi.e convened the meeting at 5:30 p.m. Request to Attend Adm. Mtg. of Bd. of Selectmen - re: T. Moil. The Board ofSelectmen requests attendance of a ,member--from the Personei Board at their Administrative Meeting scheduled for. ` esday r March 18, at a.m. At that time, there will be two issues for discussion: 1. . , the attendance of Tracie Moll, secretary to the Town Planner and 2. Personnel Board's approval for, s. Moil to .heave work at p.m. fox swimming. The Board designated Ben Lofchie to attend this meet- ing. eet-ing. Request to Meet With 'Personnel Beard by E. Virgilio Ernie -virgilia, Director of Public Works, requests to meet with the Personnel Board to discuss the creation of an Engineer Position for- which he has submitted an article to be placed on the warrant at the Annual Town... Meeting in. May. He. will be looking for proper placement of the position into the step and grade classification. Mr. .Virgilio indicated that he was preparing the Job description and would forward it to Personnel upon completion. The Board asked that he-be scheduled for 7:30 p.M*. on March 17. Meeting'W/Council. on Aging The secretary reminded Board members that they would be meeting with the Council. on Aging -at their meeting-of rMarch 17- at : p.m. in follow-up to a request made by the Personnel Board for the Council to meet with them relative to job descriptions of the Senior Citizen Director and the Out-Reach Co-ordinator. Interviews- for Asst. Building Inspector . The Board interviewed six candidates for the position of Asst.- Building Inspector, along with the presence of the Building Inspector, ''Doug Boyd. The applicants who met with the Board were: Ken Diodati, Gerald Ferreira, Thomas -Griffin,, Michael -O'Brien, James Boyd, and Chester Savery. All candidates we're advised that the sal ry for this po .-tion paid $170916. All candidates stated -that they reviewed'the job description. Upon completion of the interview process,, at the Personnel Board's request, Doug Boyd gave the Board a synopsis on who he felt was the most qualified picking Diodati, Boyd or Ferreira in no special-order) . The Beard voted to recommend the following to the Executive Secretary pending background checks: James Boyd, Ken Diodati and Gerald Ferreira.
