The Chief said that they have details on highways . They <br /> et private people calling three to four times a week , The details <br /> are being paid by those people . Selectw oman Mills again expressed <br /> concern with the credibility problem* <br /> Rita agreed that if there is the perceptionr it effects the depart- <br /> ment ' s credibility. Judy Bills commented that Barbara ' s hours <br /> should be put in the building. Rita also commented that it sets a <br /> dangerous precedent in allowing work to be done at home . <br /> Chief Frye agreed to address the problem, <br /> 1 <br /> Floati.Lia <br /> Rita Sousa reviewed the statins of the Floating Clerk position with � <br /> Chief Frye as follows : <br /> *Pea Dorton was hired as a Floating Clerk for the Town , <br /> . Floating Clerk position was funded by the Board o <br /> Selectmen <br /> .Money was cut from Selectments budget . <br /> .Kevin Harrington asked Chief Frye if he could fund the <br /> position under the Police Department . <br /> .Chief Frye agreed . <br /> Chief Frye replied ''yes . 1'' Mita Sousa explained that the Finance <br /> Committee refunded the Floating Clerk position again to start in <br /> July. She explained to the Chief that Pea Horton could stay in his <br /> department as a Record ' s Clerk, or she could return to the Town as <br /> the Floating Clerk . She would have to make a choice.- ho ev rr she <br /> will have to be told that the position of Record ' s Clerk pays less . <br /> Chief Frye mentioned that he has already talked with Bea about this . <br /> She has been working sixteen hours as a Floating Clerk, and she will <br /> have eighteen hours as a Records Clerk . The extra hourswill heli <br /> to bring her pay up , <br /> Ben Lofchie said that he would like the Personnel Board to receive a <br /> letter that Chief Frye spoke to Pea Horton. Rita agreed that a <br /> memorandum of agreement should be received stating that Bea Horton <br /> has agreed to remain at the Police Department as Record ' s Clerk at a <br /> reduced salary* <br />
