Sullivan , C ., Ben Lofchie , Leo Turo,, Jane Stockbridge <br /> and Rita Sousa <br /> hairrman Sullivan convened the meeting promptly at 6 : 00 p .m . <br /> OLD BUSINESS ; <br /> Position Description - Waterway Administrator <br /> The Personnel Board reviewed .a memo dated May 15 from Ben Gordon , waterways <br /> Commissioner .- Mr .- cordon indicated that both the Waterways Commission and <br /> , the Shellfish Commission have reviewed the draft copy of the position de- <br /> scription . <br /> -- <br /> s ription . Both committees are . rsoommending changes . Jane Stockbridge said <br /> that she would like to .review th,e recommendations and report back to the <br /> Board . Ben Lofchie moved to table further discussion until a fixture meeting . <br /> Rita Sousa seconded � All were in agreement '. <br /> Personnel Administration Plan <br /> Board members were presented with a final copy of a reformatted-- P rsonnel <br /> Administration Plan for their acceptance.. Rita Sousa explained that it <br /> says the same thine as the old one-. It has been reformatted with a Table <br /> of Contents -. Berg Lofchie mored to accept the reformatted P . A . P . Jane <br /> Stockbridge seconded the motion : All in favor . Rita asked that it be <br /> distributed to P . A -. P . employees . Ben asked about holding off until the <br /> chances are made that the Board wants to make . Rita commented that there <br /> are so many and that it will take months and months . Jane said that it i <br /> important for everyone to receive the reformatted P . A . P . in order that they <br /> have it to compare to the old one when changes are recommended . All Board <br /> members were in agreement with distributing the newly forrnated P : ; P : now <br /> along with a cover letter . <br /> Pant-Time Records clerk <br /> The Board reviewed a letter from Bea Horton dated May 29 , 1 992 in which <br /> she is applying for the pari.---time position of Records Clerk at the Police <br /> Depar-tment <br /> The Board also reviewed a memo from Barbara Morton , Administrative Assis- <br /> tant of the Mashpee Police Department . She indicated that Bea Horton has <br /> proven herself to be dependable and completely capable of carrying out the <br /> duties and responsibilities of the position . <br /> Rita Sousa asked if the employee understands that there will be a cut in <br /> pay . The Personnel Assistant indicated that she was advised by Chief Frye <br /> that he has discussed this with Bea Horton . The Personnel Assistant said <br /> that she would follow up on this by contacting the - employee .,' Bea Horton , to <br /> make sure that she understands about the pay . Jane .Stockbridge mored to <br /> recommend Bea Dorton to the Board of Selectmen for appointment as a part- <br /> time Records Clerk to be effective on July 1 .
