PERSONNEL BOARD MEETING <br /> MINUTES OF JULY 30, 1992 PAGE 2 <br /> INTERVIEW FOR FLOATING CLERK. cont . <br /> I <br /> Board of Health office, the Personnel office and the Board of <br /> Selectmen' s office . She indicated that she has enjoyed the work . <br /> Jean' s past work experience includes working as an Office Clerk at <br /> Sears since 1989 . She has taken an accounting course with Bentley <br /> College . The Board found Jean to be qualified for the position and <br /> voted to recommend her for appointment to the Board of Selectmen. <br /> INTERVIEW FOR WATER DISTRICT CLERK <br /> The Personnel Board, along with Chairman Delory of Assessing, and <br /> Lynn Tiaudt, Asst . Assessor, interviewed Sue-Ann Brown for the <br /> part-time position of Water District Clerk . Sue was advised that <br /> the position pays $7 . 31 an hour and is approved for 19 hours per <br /> week . Sue has worked for the Town Clerk in Sticker Sales on a <br /> part-time basis and comes highly recommended by Jane Labute . She <br /> also has worked in the Conservation Department on a part-time basis <br /> as a Temporary Clerk . Lynn reviewed the job requirements with Sue <br /> as well as the work schedule indicating that there was some flexi- <br /> bility. However, Lynn mentioned they would like a set schedule once <br /> the employee is hired . All were in agreement to recommend Sue-Ann <br /> Brown to the Board of Assessors for appointment if the schedule <br /> could be worked out . <br /> INTERVIEWS FOR PROGRAM SUPERVISOR <br /> The Board, along with the assistance of Dean Driscoll , Leisure <br /> Service Director, interviewed Eiblis Cazeault and Joseph Hayes for <br /> the part-time ( 20 hour) position of Program Supervisor. A third <br /> candidate, Phillip Scorgie, was scheduled to be interviewed; <br /> however, he called to cancel his interview stating that he is con- <br /> sidering going back to school . Backgrounds of both candidates were <br /> reviewed as well as the job responsibilities . After the interview <br /> process, Dean indicated that he would like to have a second inter- <br /> view with Eiblis Cazeault and may possibly want to interview other <br /> applicants . The Board was in agreement but asked that he work with <br /> the Personnel Assistant prior to scheduling anything further. <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN TOWN AND EXECUTIVE SECRETARY <br /> Board members received a copy of the Agreement between the Town and <br /> the new Executive Secretary, Bob Whritenour. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN FINANCE COMMITTEE MEMBER AND HARBORMASTER <br /> The Board reviewed a copy of a letter from Denise Sullivan, Finance <br /> Committee member, to the Harbormaster requesting to be updated on <br /> his vacation and compensatory time . Chairman Sullivan indicated <br /> that he spoke to the Chairman of the Finance Committee, Deirdre <br /> Greelish, advising her that these requests should be channeled <br /> through Personnel . <br /> REQUEST TO ADVERTISE - ASST. BLDG INSPECTOR <br /> The Personnel Assistant mentioned that she was verbally informed <br /> by Joyce Mason, Adm. Asst . , that the Board of Selectmen approved <br />
