VPOI <br /> PERSONNEL ARI S <br /> TENTING OF SPTNMR 55 1996 <br /> PAGE 4 <br /> Mini-Bus Driver, cont. <br /> the Town and a small cities grant provided the funding for these positions. <br /> Applications will be accepted for this position until September 11. <br /> Position of Administrative Assistant -Town Clerk <br /> The Board was advised that Marlene Black, the part-time Administrative Assistant to <br /> the Town Clerk had resigned as of the end of August. She accepted a full-time <br /> position in the Town of Sandwich. The Board discussed the recommendations of the <br /> M.M.A. study about this position which described the position in a different way. <br /> They felt it should be reviewed for its current status. <br /> Request for Family and Medical Leave <br /> The Board reviewed a letter dated September 4 from Brenda A. hfille requesting to be <br /> placed on Family and Medical Leave until September 14. Brenda indicated that she <br /> had been designated as the primary health care provider for her mother due to her <br /> serious health condition. Brenda also indicates in her letter that she has used up the <br /> balance of her vacation, personal and compensatory days. The Board unanimously <br /> approved Brenda's request to be placed on Family and Medical leave effective <br /> immediately. <br /> oliy on E.A.P. <br /> The Board reviewed a polio on the Employee Assistance Program which was <br /> received from Patsy Labelle of the Cape Cod Employee Assistance Program. Marilyn <br /> F. advised the Board that Bob W. recently renewed the contract with them. Marilyn <br /> Farren was designed by the Board as the representative for the Town to implement <br /> and communicate this policy to all employees. <br /> iip..lire Action Procedures <br /> Copies of Disciplinary Action Procedures were passed out to Board members to <br /> review. These procedures will be discussed at the Board's next meeting. <br /> Administrative Secretary to L .P.W. <br /> Bob W. requests the Board to study the position of Administrative Secretary to the <br /> D.P.W. Marilyn F. advised the Board that she will be compiling a job description as <br /> a result of a position questionnaire which she had Nancy Loewinger fill out. The <br /> Board will rate the position using the methodology provided by the M.M.A. <br /> Other Business: <br /> Nonna K. mentioned that having ars Employee Handbook consisting of questions and <br /> answers would be something very helpful to employees. Marilyn F. mentioned that <br /> she was working on updating the 'down's Employee Handbook which consisted of <br />
