Norma K. seconded.. Unanimous, <br /> Marilyn F. updated the Board on the following appointments: <br /> ent <br /> Suzanne Felton declined the position of Senior Clerk II in the <br /> T-reasurer I s office, and Dawn Thayer acceted the position. <br /> Barbara Costello was hired as Administrative Secretary in the <br /> Police Department, <br /> The Board of Selectmen appointed the followinV Beard Secretaries <br /> Sandra Gault (Board of Appeals alternate ,, Julia Colby (Finance <br /> Committee) , and Rosemary Bel Conte (alternate) ,, <br /> Review of Town Report <br /> The Board r'eviewed . the Personnel Board Town Report, The Board <br /> amended the Report to read as follows <br /> a e 1 , "Supporting Marilyn Farren with her research for salary <br /> and benefits information . . , tw <br /> a e ' , "internal audit- and re ortinc system, " (Marilyn F. t <br /> insert her accomplishments) , <br /> pad*e 2 ., _ "'Marilyn Farren submitted municipal incentive grant <br /> application, <br /> Personnel Board Responsibilities <br /> The Board reviewed Marilyn F. ' s Memorandum to BobW, re. <br /> Personnel Board responsibilities, <br /> -Carole D. read from the Town By-Laws which state that the <br /> Personnel Board should sery as an 'Adi'tinistrati re Board and <br /> not just an Advisory Board. Carole D. read further and noted <br /> that the Personnel Board handles grievances . <br />
