➢ Eric Peterson -of SPB made 'Introductory comments and <br /> representatives from the Woods Hole group made a presentation on <br /> a plan to improve the safety and navigation capabilities of the <br /> Popponesset Approach channel. SPB would contract with WHG and <br /> an agreement (MOU) reached with the Town to enable the town to be <br /> the Applicant on the new filing with the intent to be to amend the <br /> existing Town Comprehensive Perrnit.(NAE 2013 1241) with the new <br /> design concept. The Commission noted unanimously as follows: <br /> ➢ The Mashpee Waterways Commission approved the Popponesset <br /> Approach Channel "safer navigation design concept" presented by <br /> SPB and WHG. Details of an MOU agreement between SPB and the <br /> Town should be worked out acceptable to both parties. This would <br /> enable the Town to become the applicant of this new design concep#. <br /> SPB will be responsible for all expenses that relate to the project, <br /> This concept. project will. be submitted to all agencies as an <br /> Amendment to the existing Town Comprehensive Permit #NAE 2013 <br /> 1241. <br /> ➢ Motion made by Don MacDonald, second by-Ti-m Leedham. <br /> Vote was unanimous of-all commission members present. <br /> ➢ Don Barton suggested the use of ticket machines to control non- <br /> resident use of Mashpee public landings. <br /> ➢ As an alternative to ticket machines or paid landing monitors Andrew <br /> McManus suggested that monitors be flown residents wishing to "work <br /> off' personal property taxes,, <br /> A motion to adjourn was made by Don MacDonald, second by Stanton <br /> Healy. Vote was unanimous. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 11:09 AM <br />
