Murphy stated that $8,700,00. would be added to the over-all debt for the new school for the architectural and engineering work, ,,, Of that, $7, 000,00, will be used for topogra, hic survey for twenty-eight acres , Boundary survey for 400.00. and 1,300.00e for soil and percolation tests , The School uilding Committee feels very strongly that this money is needed as soon as possible . The Committee will be meeting with. the Board of Selectmen on Wednesday, February Il , 1987 for further dis- cussion. Mr. Lawrence moved that the Article -necessary to acc m 'lish '-this ,be. inibluded on the iwa.r'rant for .Sp c.i al Toro : e �n .1L . The vote was unanimous . 5. Article for Warrant - transfer of,_piece of land. This article relates to a Piece of land which needed a, confirmation of the Land Court before action could be taken. There is a, dwelling loc- ated on the piece of land . Mr. Murphy suggested an Article to ask the Town Meeting to authorize the Board of Selectmen to transfer a, piece of land for another piece of land to provide relief to the individuals living in the dwelling. Assistant Counsel is the the text of the Article . Mro Lawrence moved that such an appropriate Article be included on the Warrayat . The vote was unanimous . NEW BUSINESS : 1. Utility Request - New England Telephone - #87-503.o The request from New England Telephone is for one manhold with four ducts on Route 1300 Public Hearing vl as held in the office of the Executive Secretary on January 28 , 1987 . No objections were raised. If approved , New England Telephone will arrange for detail police officer for traffic control. Selectman Lawrence roved to' approve Utility Request #87-503. The vote was unanimous ,, 2a CeLble Advisory.-Committee - letters of interest i serving. Harold A. Williams and Robert We Sullivan have submitted letters expressing interest in serving on the Committee . In his memorandum to the Selectmen, . Sullivan noted that Leo Turo is also interested. This Committee has a capacity of seven members . Mr. Lawrence moved that Mr. Williams , Mr. Sullivan and Mr. Turo be appointed to the Committee to whatever terms they should so choose as at this time , their are no other members .bers . It was requested that Mrs Turo ub� snit his own letter of interest prior to actual appointment, The vote was unanimous . Mr, Murphy will communicate with previous members . It is a point petition of Rotary Liquors of Wla. tepee , Inc . , d/b/a South Cape Liquors and South Cape Liquors , Inc * Continuances have been due to the circumstance that incorporation papers of South Cape Liquors Of Mash ee , Inc , have not been received. The Board has now received a request from Martin Nolan, Jre that there be no further continuance of this hearing. The .
