Murphy stated that <br /> $8,700,00. would be added to the over-all debt for the new school <br /> for the architectural and engineering work, ,,, Of that, $7, 000,00, <br /> will be used for topogra, hic survey for twenty-eight acres , Boundary <br /> survey for 400.00. and 1,300.00e for soil and percolation tests , <br /> The School uilding Committee feels very strongly that this money is <br /> needed as soon as possible . The Committee will be meeting with. the <br /> Board of Selectmen on Wednesday, February Il , 1987 for further dis- <br /> cussion. Mr. Lawrence moved that the Article -necessary to acc m 'lish <br /> '-this ,be. inibluded on the iwa.r'rant for .Sp c.i al Toro : e �n .1L . The vote <br /> was unanimous . <br /> 5. Article for Warrant - transfer of,_piece of land. <br /> This article relates to a Piece of land which needed a, confirmation of <br /> the Land Court before action could be taken. There is a, dwelling loc- <br /> ated on the piece of land . Mr. Murphy suggested an Article to ask <br /> the Town Meeting to authorize the Board of Selectmen to transfer a, <br /> piece of land for another piece of land to provide relief to the <br /> individuals living in the dwelling. Assistant Counsel is the <br /> the text of the Article . Mro Lawrence moved that such an appropriate <br /> Article be included on the Warrayat . The vote was unanimous . <br /> NEW BUSINESS : <br /> 1. Utility Request - New England Telephone - #87-503.o <br /> The request from New England Telephone is for one manhold with four <br /> ducts on Route 1300 Public Hearing vl as held in the office of the <br /> Executive Secretary on January 28 , 1987 . No objections were raised. <br /> If approved , New England Telephone will arrange for detail police <br /> officer for traffic control. Selectman Lawrence roved to' approve <br /> Utility Request #87-503. The vote was unanimous ,, <br /> 2a CeLble Advisory.-Committee - letters of interest i <br /> serving. Harold A. Williams and Robert We Sullivan have submitted <br /> letters expressing interest in serving on the Committee . In his <br /> memorandum to the Selectmen, . Sullivan noted that Leo Turo is also <br /> interested. This Committee has a capacity of seven members . Mr. <br /> Lawrence moved that Mr. Williams , Mr. Sullivan and Mr. Turo be appointed <br /> to the Committee to whatever terms they should so choose as at this <br /> time , their are no other members .bers . It was requested that Mrs Turo ub� <br /> snit his own letter of interest prior to actual appointment, The vote <br /> was unanimous .
