Board of Selectmen Page Three Regular Meeting Wednesday, February '7 Executive Secretary suggested that Board move to close the hearing which was accomplished by motion made by Selectman Lawrence and a unanimous vote . Ir. Lawrence then rade motion to deny the application for transfer of the liquor license in that the Petitioner cannot demonstrate that it exists as a. corporate entity. The vote was unani- mous . OLD BUSINESS (cont.-)-: 6. Police Dement - Anointment of Part-time Clerk* Memorandum dated February 3, 1987 from Barbara Horton, Administrative Secretary of the Police Department, details information regarding the considered necessity of this appointment. After discussion, Mr. Lawrence made motion to appoint 1 a.ryAnne Souza as part-time clerk to the Police Department. The vote was unanimous , NEW BUSINESS (cont. ) : 3. Police, Department - Resignation. Officer David Bangs submitted his resignation a.s full-time pa.tro lman with the Mashpee Police Department in a memorandum dated January 23 , 1987 and requesting that this become effective February 21, 1987o . Police Department Re s ig a.ti on. Beverly Reid, Part-time Clerk, has submitted her resignation in letter dated January 20, 1987 to become effective January 30 , 1987. Police Department ent - recommendation for full-tire clerk- 5. public safety, dispatcher. In memorandum dated January 29 , 1987 , Chief `rye recommended Jill Wragg for the position of Clerk Dispatcher. This is a. new, approved position. Slectman Lawrence moved that Jill Wragg be appointed as public safety dispatcher for the Police Department. The vote was unanimous . . Police Department - Articles for Annual Town Meet�.n Chief of Police , Curtis W. Frye , submitted five Articles for approval and inclusion on the warrant for Annual Town Meeting. The five articles were principally concerned with t .e 'raising and appropriating of funds for three new and unused replacement cruisers ; radar system; computer system; estimates , drawings , and specifications for an addition to the existing Police Station; and purchasing or leasing a, police information management computer system and funding a maintenance ice agreement for the police information ori r anagement computer system. Mr. Lawrence roved that these a.rtisles be included on the Warrant. The vote was unanimous . Further, at the request of the Director of Parks and Recreation Chief Frye requested that an Article to authorize the towing of illegally parked vehicles on Town property covered under section 22D of Chapter 40, M.G.L. be prepared by Town Counsel for approval and inclusion on the, Warrant for Annual Town Meeting. It was unanimously agreed to have the appropriate article be prepared. 7.
