Ir. Lawrence then rade motion to deny the application <br /> for transfer of the liquor license in that the Petitioner cannot <br /> demonstrate that it exists as a. corporate entity. The vote was unani- <br /> mous . <br /> OLD BUSINESS (cont.-)-: <br /> 6. Police Dement - Anointment of Part-time Clerk* <br /> Memorandum dated February 3, 1987 from Barbara Horton, Administrative <br /> Secretary of the Police Department, details information regarding the <br /> considered necessity of this appointment. After discussion, Mr. <br /> Lawrence made motion to appoint 1 a.ryAnne Souza as part-time clerk to <br /> the Police Department. The vote was unanimous , <br /> NEW BUSINESS (cont. ) : <br /> 3. Police, Department - Resignation. Officer David Bangs <br /> submitted his resignation a.s full-time pa.tro lman with the Mashpee <br /> Police Department in a memorandum dated January 23 , 1987 and requesting <br /> that this become effective February 21, 1987o <br /> . Police Department Re s ig a.ti on. Beverly Reid, Part-time <br /> Clerk, has submitted her resignation in letter dated January 20, 1987 to <br /> become effective January 30 , 1987. <br /> Police Department ent - recommendation for full-tire clerk- <br /> 5. <br /> public safety, dispatcher. In memorandum dated January 29 , 1987 , Chief <br /> `rye recommended Jill Wragg for the position of Clerk Dispatcher. This <br /> is a. new, approved position. Slectman Lawrence moved that Jill Wragg <br /> be appointed as public safety dispatcher for the Police Department. The <br /> vote was unanimous . <br /> . Police Department - Articles for Annual Town Meet�.n <br /> Chief of Police , Curtis W. Frye , submitted five Articles for approval <br /> and inclusion on the warrant for Annual Town Meeting. The five articles <br /> were principally concerned with t .e 'raising and appropriating of funds <br /> for three new and unused replacement cruisers ; radar system; computer <br /> system; estimates , drawings , and specifications for an addition to the <br /> existing Police Station; and purchasing or leasing a, police information <br /> management computer system and funding a maintenance ice agreement for the <br /> police information ori r anagement computer system. Mr. Lawrence roved that <br /> these a.rtisles be included on the Warrant. The vote was unanimous . <br /> Further, at the request of the Director of Parks and Recreation <br /> Chief Frye requested that an Article to authorize the towing of illegally <br /> parked vehicles on Town property covered under section 22D of Chapter 40, <br /> M.G.L. be prepared by Town Counsel for approval and inclusion on the, <br /> Warrant for Annual Town Meeting. It was unanimously agreed to have the <br /> appropriate article be prepared. <br /> 7. Arts Council - Article for Annual Town Meetin The <br /> Arts Council submitted the following Article for approval and inclusion <br /> on the Warrant: "To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate <br /> or take From available funds the sum of $1 ,000.00. for an operating <br />
