Beach Concession Bich. The Director of Parks and <br /> Recreation submitted a memorandum dated March 6 , 19'07 in which <br /> she recommended that the Ton accept the bid of Tien Maloney for <br /> the beach concession with the option to renew for one year upon the <br /> satisfaction of the parks and Recreation Director. Ms . Rubin <br /> suggested that if renewed, Mro Maloney's bid should be increased <br /> y ten percent for the 1988 season. Mrs . Thomas moved to accept <br /> the bid of Tim Maloney loney a .d the option for renewal as recommended <br /> y the Director of Parks and Recreation. Mr. Lawrence seconded <br /> the motion, The vote was' unanimous . <br /> OLD BUSINESS (cont. ) <br /> Selectman Lawrence expressed concern about the Quashnet <br /> Valley Country Club and the status of their request for closing dates . <br /> Mr. Murphy explained that they are required to re-open March 1 , 1987. <br /> The Police Department has been requested to investigate that and report <br /> back. <br /> WATER COMMISSION <br /> Chairwoman Thomas noted that the water Commissioners <br /> have received the weekly water Report ending March 6 , 1987 . <br /> Letter to Monte Ovila concerning his ownership of Lot <br /> 8 as shown on Land Court Plan 12787-1 and the private water supply <br /> system was unanimously approved.. <br /> Mrs .. Thomas referred to a memorandum dated March 4, 1987 <br /> from the Torn Planner concerning the Winslow Heights Nater Connection <br /> to Falmouth. She stated that Mro James Smith, developer, is willing <br /> to await the outcome of the larch 23 Special Town Meeting, <br /> Regarding the Asher' s Path situation, lrs . Thomas stated - <br /> that projected costs have been gathered including the cost of the T <br /> well. Costs are broken down into design, main construction, con- <br /> struction supervision which amounts to $194409525s estimated. $414,000, <br /> is estimated for the development of the T-4 well. Further discussion <br /> on this article was deferred to the Administrative meeting of March17 , <br /> 1987 pending the receipt of more detailed information on the fee for <br /> construction supervision which fee has been submitted as $101,900, <br /> Regarding the Briarwood/Otis Trailer Park Area article , <br /> Mrs ., Thomas noted that SEA Consultant's estimated cost for construction <br /> resident engineer and construction administration is $1,231,100, <br /> There being no further business to come before this regular <br /> meeting, the Board members voted individually wad affirmatively to <br /> enter into Executive sessions on tree different ma teas , 1 a.cquisition <br />
