Board of selectmen Page Three Regular Meeting Wednesdays March 11, 198' bar-laws, It was unanimously ously agreed to adopt a set of by-laws from a, similar water district that could act as fundamental working by-laws for the Commissioners of the water District so that they will be able-, to immediately proceed with their duties , 5. Beach Concession Bich. The Director of Parks and Recreation submitted a memorandum dated March 6 , 19'07 in which she recommended that the Ton accept the bid of Tien Maloney for the beach concession with the option to renew for one year upon the satisfaction of the parks and Recreation Director. Ms . Rubin suggested that if renewed, Mro Maloney's bid should be increased y ten percent for the 1988 season. Mrs . Thomas moved to accept the bid of Tim Maloney loney a .d the option for renewal as recommended y the Director of Parks and Recreation. Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion, The vote was' unanimous . OLD BUSINESS (cont. ) Selectman Lawrence expressed concern about the Quashnet Valley Country Club and the status of their request for closing dates . Mr. Murphy explained that they are required to re-open March 1 , 1987. The Police Department has been requested to investigate that and report back. WATER COMMISSION Chairwoman Thomas noted that the water Commissioners have received the weekly water Report ending March 6 , 1987 . Letter to Monte Ovila concerning his ownership of Lot 8 as shown on Land Court Plan 12787-1 and the private water supply system was unanimously approved.. Mrs .. Thomas referred to a memorandum dated March 4, 1987 from the Torn Planner concerning the Winslow Heights Nater Connection to Falmouth. She stated that Mro James Smith, developer, is willing to await the outcome of the larch 23 Special Town Meeting, Regarding the Asher' s Path situation, lrs . Thomas stated - that projected costs have been gathered including the cost of the T well. Costs are broken down into design, main construction, con- struction supervision which amounts to $194409525s estimated. $414,000, is estimated for the development of the T-4 well. Further discussion on this article was deferred to the Administrative meeting of March17 , 1987 pending the receipt of more detailed information on the fee for construction supervision which fee has been submitted as $101,900, Regarding the Briarwood/Otis Trailer Park Area article , Mrs ., Thomas noted that SEA Consultant's estimated cost for construction resident engineer and construction administration is $1,231,100, There being no further business to come before this regular meeting, the Board members voted individually wad affirmatively to enter into Executive sessions on tree different ma teas , 1 a.cquisition
