Thomas and Mr. Lawrence detailed the actions that have <br /> been taken regarding Summerwood Condominiums and other areas affected <br /> and plans for the near and distant future . A "target date" of 1959 <br /> was indicated for the actual supplying of water by the Town to the <br /> affected areas . <br /> John Shea, Esc . was present for his clients Charles and <br /> Susan. Tuite of #14 Sum erwood. Mr. Shea stated that his clients are <br /> suffering an economic problem due entirely to the water, pollution problem <br /> and that 1989 is too far distant for them to wait for relief, Mrs . <br /> . <br /> Tuite reminded Mrs . Thomas that she had brought in the results of water <br /> testing at #14 Sump erwood taken by an independent , reputable agency, <br /> Mrs . Tuite stated that she had had no response , Mrs , Thomas stated <br /> that she had sent the test results report to various agency officials <br /> and had had no response . <br /> Mr. Shea. and r. McCarthy were given codes of the Phase I <br /> report and evaluation performed by Weston & Sampson. <br /> As this matter involves potential litigation, members o <br /> the Board of Selectmen unanimously agreed to decline any further dis- <br /> cussion of this smatter at this tame and without benefit of advice o <br /> Town Counsel. <br /> . This matter directly concerns <br /> $24,000.00. to fund the salary and expense account of the Conservation <br /> Officer. The matter was briefly discussed with further discussion con- <br /> tinued to the following geek at a. time to be mutually agreed upon, <br /> 5. Mr. Burtis re : blockage of access road. Mr., Burtis <br /> and his attorney, Mr. Rapo a, were present for this hearing as were <br /> Mrs . Richardson and her son, Robert, After inspection of the map <br /> showing Mr. Burtis ' deeded property and adjacent properties and after <br /> discussing the manner in which the DPT laid a, pavement which deprived <br /> Mr. Burns of access to Little River Boatyard, it was unanimously <br /> agreed by all those present that Mr. Burtis does indeed have the right <br /> to access and that the Director of the DPW will further, confer with <br /> Mr. Burns to make the necessary modification to the access- road. <br /> (This meeting proceeded out of order of the agenda as scheduled. <br /> NEW BUSINESS , <br /> 1. Shellfish Commission articles for Special Town <br /> Meeting.. The Shellfish Constable submitted two articles , l to transfer <br /> "00.00. from the reseeding account to the expense account to offset <br /> the purchase of a. new 25 horsepower outboard rotor. Mrs Ryan explained <br /> this request and the members unanimously agreed to include this article <br /> on the warrant for Special Town Meeting; 2 article' concerning docks <br /> reeds modifications which were explained to Mr, Ryan; however, it was <br /> unanimously agreed to include this article on the warrant for special <br /> town meeting in its modified state . <br />
