The Executive Secretary referred to a, letter dated March 12 , 1987 from Gordon Le Sutin and stated that they are looking for an acknowledgment of the process , He said that the Board of Health has had the scales this past week and has not been satisfied at all because the scales have been non-functional. Storrs , Development ent Director of Fields Point requested a meeting with all parties involved to discuss this project. Mrs .. Thomas and Mr. Lawrence will confer further on this , 6. Quashnet Vnllev Country Club. lir# Murphy stated that the Chief of Police has noted in his memorandum' dated larch 23', 1987 that a daily check of the Club lounge has shown that the lounge was not open at any time since lir. Murphy requested that these checks be made on March 9, 1987. On November 10, 1986, the manager of 'the Club, Thomas Devane , Jr. , requested permission to close on weekdays in January and February of 1987 due to economic conditions , T its request was ' approv e d by the Board of Select yen,on November 25, 1986. The Executive secretary said that the lounge should be open weekdays now under the terms of the conditions agreed upon by the Board. The members agreed to make written cOmmunica.tion to the management of the Club immediately. Mr. l,a.wrence will make telephonic inquiry into this ratter. 7. Popponesset Dredging Pro `e c t. Mrs . Thomas stated that she has provided an update report on this project and that the Town will o out to rebid the contract.
