s Board of Selectmen Page Two Regular Meeting ednsday, April 8, 1987 , i OLD BUSINESS : 1. High Wood Water CoMpany - meeting. The Executive Secretary explained that because the planner F' I d s Point has employed cannot attend a. meeting scheduled for April 16, 1987, it has been requested that the meeting date be changed to April 2 , 1987. It was unanimously agreed that the Board will meet with representatives Of High Wood Water Company and Fields Point on a date to follow the Annual Election after May 9 , 1987 to allow the involvement of the newly- elected e ly- elected Selectmen. 2. Capital Pro rm - Special .,Town Me e t it „ Mr. Murphy recommended in a memorandum, of April 2 , 1987 that a Special Town Meeting be held on Monday, July 27, 1987 to deal exclusively with capital program items deferred from the Annual Town Meeting any articles relating to transfer of assets and liabilities to the Water District and any articles related to the T-4 or -1 wells , He stressed that the deadline for the articles should be June 12, 1987, The Executive Secretary also submitted a. "calendar" for this proposed meeting. Mrs . Thomas moved that the Board adopt the proposed schedule for a. Special Town meeting concerning capital program items deferred from the Annual. Town Meeting, any articles relating to transfer of assets and liabilities to the water District and any art-30cles related to the T-4 or -1 wells such meeting to be held on July 27 , 1987 . The vote was unanimous, NEW BUSINESS : 1. ' Execution of Special Town Meeting Warrant. It was unanimously agreed to defer the execution of the Special Town Meeting Warrant to Friday, April 10, 1987 at 8 :00 A. M. 2. Execution of Annual Town Meeting, Warrant. It was unani- mously agreed to defer the execution of the Annual Town Meeting Warrant to Friday, April. 10, 1987 at 8: 05 A. M. 3 . Annual Election Ballot . The Executive Secretary sub- mitted a. list of the requested ballot questions previously in this meeting for perusal of the Board. . Audit- report. Mr. Murphy noted that the -Audit report for Fiscal 1986' has been received. It was unanimously agreed that copies will be distributed to the relevant departments and that a meeting will be held to discuss this with the -Department Heads involved after Town Meeting, 5. Mr. Murphy pointed out that only the Selectmen c ars. select the architect. The Chairman stated that the Committee should not consist s o ley of members of the Department although their input should certainly be valuable . Other prospective member' s will be sought,
