(Mary E. Zocchi, Trustee). Continued from
June 27, 2018 hearings at the request of the applicant
Attorney Brian Wall represented the application that was continued because the Board
wanted clarification from the Conservation Agent regarding the permit extension act. There
was also a condition that the dock could not be built without a house. The Board was
concerned about continuing or extending the permit without knowing the status of the
underlining wetlands permit. The Board said the normal process is that the applicant goes
to the Conservation Commission first, and then the applicant applies for a Special Permit
with the Zoning Board. The Board was concerned about extending the Special Permit with
the possibility that there was no wetlands permit in place. Mr. Wall said he contacted Mr.
McManus and pointed out that the permit was extended under the permit extension act
which he agreed and emailed the Board his revised cormnent.
Chairman Furbush read the email from Drew McManus into the record dated June 29,2018
stating the order of conditions for the dock is valid until July 10, 2019. Mr. Furbush also
read the email sent from the Harbormaster, dated June 27, 2018 stating he has no issues.
1
