Richard Ha.rns , Pre l.dent of Triple "C" Enterprises , <br /> Inc . had made written request to the Board on March 2'5, 198' <br /> Mr. Murphy. made inquirer to theAlcoholic Beverages Control Commission <br /> regarding extension and the reply was that seasonal licenses issued <br /> under Section 15 cannot be extended beyond November ember 3 A draft <br /> letter to this effect was submitted by Mr. Murphy to be sent to <br /> Triple " " if approved by the Board . Se1ecto a Lawrence moved that <br /> the draft tetter be forwarded to Triple "C" Enterprises , Ince lir. <br /> Carter seconded the motion. Murphy stated that Police Chief Frye has submitted a. reprised <br /> list of recommended members of the Design Reveiw Committee for the <br /> Police Station addition. The Executive Sacretary gave background <br /> ins orma.tion in his memorandum to the Board dated May 13 , 1987a <br /> Selectman Carter Moved that the Design Review Committee as submitted <br /> y Police Chief Frye be accepted. Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion. <br /> The vote was unanimous , <br /> 3. Board of Health re : Summerwood Building Z - filter, <br /> The Board of Selectmen received a memorandum dated May 13 , 1from <br /> the Board of Health in which that Board states that a filter shall <br /> .be employed at Building #14, Summerwood Condominiums , for water- <br /> quality control. Chairman of the Board of Health, Charles Buckingham, <br /> was present to discuss this matterand e stated ,, "If we 're looking <br /> for to m ediate assistance for Building #14, the filter° system is the <br /> only way to go* " Selectman Gottlieb expressed serious concern about <br /> who would be responsible for the insta.11ationt operation and main- <br /> tenance of this filter; also., who has liability for the various <br /> aspects of this filter. Mr. Gottlieb also inquired as to who will <br /> have jurisdiction in this ratter. He stressed that operation is the <br /> "key" part. Mrs . Thomas a.s noted that residents of the area are opposed <br /> to the drilling of another well as such a well may also draw contami- <br /> nants . <br /> ontami-Hants . r. Hanson discussed the cost of installing a. filter or filters <br /> at Sum erwood as opposed to how quickly Town water could be made <br /> available . It appears that this could not be a. reality for at least <br /> a, year. It was agreed to continue this discussion during Executive <br /> Session. <br /> a Conservation Commission - appointment of Associate <br /> Member. In a memorandum dated May 12r, 1987,.terthe- <br /> Conservation <br /> Sion requested that the Board of Selectmen appoint Patrick Coffey as <br /> Associate Member to the Commission.
