The Board of Selectmen una i ously <br /> agreed to forward -this communication to the Board of Health with <br /> a copy to the Dump Collector. <br /> 6. Landfill Weighing.- Program. In a, memorandum da.ted <br /> May 19 , 19,8 7 , T e Board of Health outlined a, proposal for supplying <br /> manpower for the SE ASS scale weighing program. They propose a <br /> period of four hours per day during the normal five-day work week. <br /> It was unanimously agreed to refer this matter to the Executive <br /> Secretary for more funding or a, re-scheduling of personnel, <br /> 7* orie-sset Dredging pro `ec The= Chaff woman stated <br /> that a written communication dated May 1 � 198' has been rec ived <br /> from David Go Aubrey, PhD, concerning payment for work performed <br /> on this project. Dr. Aubrey also proposed a, review f the scope <br /> of this project including past services rendered by himself and. <br /> Gahagan. and Bryant As s o c i a It was unanimously agreed to defer <br /> discussion on this matter until the next regular meeting scheduled <br /> o be held on June 3 , 1987, <br /> The Chairwoman stated that the Board has received the <br /> fifth draft of the Inter-municipal Agreement regarding the _trash <br /> �ra,nsfer matter from the Falmouth Board of Selectmen with the request <br /> that it be approved as ;to form after review by the Town of l ashpee <br /> Board of Selectmen. Technical da.+ta and logistics have already been <br /> agreed upon* A meeting will be held on Friday, May 29 , 1957 at Otis <br /> Air Force Base at 10: 00 A. M. Selectman a.wren.ce will most li elY2 <br /> be attending that meeting. Mrs . Thomas said that this draft agree- <br /> ment <br /> ,greemeat has been forwarded this date to Town Counsel for further review <br /> and opinion, <br /> go Fire Department_ ' ct n _..FireChief,, Mrs . Thomas stated <br /> that the Finance Committee has agreed to transfer the monies that were <br /> necessary, William Chase has agreed to act as Chief. After brief <br /> discussion, the Board of Selectmen un.a ,imously agreed that an appoint- <br /> ment slip shall be prepared for a, ninety-day period appointing Mr. <br /> Chase as Acting Fire Chief. <br /> NEW BUS DESS <br /> 1. New England Tele hone Petitions. Public hearing was <br /> held on May 20 , 1987 at 11:00 A.M. concerning Utility Request <br /> #87-569 of New England Telephone . Notices of the hearing were duly <br /> mailed to -abutters as required. Ronald P. T ibodea.u, representative <br /> of New England Telephone , was present for this hearing. The petition <br /> is for the installation of a proposed conduit- along Great Neck Road. <br /> The project is proposed to increase telephone facilities' .in the area.. <br />
