The vote was unanimous. <br /> 2. Mashpee Arts�COunil. A letter of resignation a.s <br /> been r ivied From Susan F. Van T l, currently a member of the <br /> Arts Council, Ms, Van Tot cited as her reason for resignation the, <br /> fact that according to state statue an appointed Registrar is pre- <br /> cluded from appointment to another Board. Ir. Iawrenc e moved to <br /> accept the resignation of Mse Van T l from, the l ashpee Arts Council <br /> Mr. Gottlieb seconded the motion* Mrs . Thomas abstained from voting, <br /> g. <br /> Messrs . Carter and Hanson voted in favor. <br /> 3. Massahcusetts Municipal al A.ssocia.tion. A written communi- <br /> cation dated May 14, 1987 has been received rom the Association r - <br /> questing action on the proposed amendment to the Articles ofOrgani- <br /> zation to limit the Directors ' and Officers ' liability in certain <br /> respects * Background information was given in a. memorandum from the <br /> Association. Sine the As s o c i ata on-1-s insurance is renewable on <br /> July 1, 1987, a special meeting of the memberships has been called <br /> for Jure 9, 1987. Proxy Grote will be acceptable if received at <br /> MMA by Friday, June 5, 1987a Nor. Gottlieb stated that he would be <br /> able to attend this meeting.
