The Finance Committee recommends in favor of this article . Mro Gottlieb will move this article at Special Town l eetj. .g. Article 4 - concerning the appropriation and transfer from the Stabilization Fund to replace the deck, ramp-, and stairs of the Senior Center. Monies appropriated are for materials. The DPW will be doing the construction. The Finance Committee re ommends in favor of this article. Mr.. dans on will move this article. Article - concerning the acceptance of the Town of the layouts of Deerfield Road, Alden Circle and Blair Circle.' lir. Murphy explained that the intent is to take the road under the Town -law private road conversion program for which $50,000, would be borrowed and the amount borrowed including interest would be paid by the assess- ment .ssass- ent of betterments based on the number of lots , The Finance Committee is against this article as Chairman Heller stated, "We think the Town is taking on fiscal responsibilities that we are ilk.- quipped to handle at this time". Mr.. carter will move - this article . Article 6 - concerning the acceptance 6f the Town of .the layout of owdoin Road. The Finance Committee is against this article for the same reasons as noted regarding Article 5. Mr. Hanson-will move this article. Artie l - concerning the appropriation of $50,000, for repairs to Bowdoin Road. The Finance Committee is against this article for the same reasons as noted regarding Articles 5 and 6. Mra Hanson will move this article . Article 8 - concerns the Town's aut ori ,ung the Board of Selectmen to appoint a Community Recreation center Building Needs Committee. No monies are requested. Mr. Carter will move this article, Arai l - concerning the Town's authorizing and instructing the Board of Selectmen to file a Home Rule petition to authorize the Town of Mashpee to pay an unpaid bill in the amount of $7p453*65 to the County of Barnstable for the engineering in the redefinition and layout of Meetinghouse Road. These expenses were incurred in 1974 and 1975. The Finance Committee recommends in favor of this article*, Mr.. Lawrence will move this article at Special Town Meeting. Article 11 - concerning the raising and appropriating of a sure of money to fund a contract between the Town and Mashpee Permanent Firefighters Association, Local 2519 , for the period beginning July 1,
