Thomas be the contact person for further dis- <br /> cussions specificallyrin regard to the possibility bf placing an <br /> addendum to the contract between the Town of Falmouth and the Town <br /> of Mashpee concerning payment. Murphy explained that the permit requested is for an enter- <br /> tainment license. lir o Gottlieb moved that New S eabur r Corporation <br /> be granted a, permit to hold an outdoor concert on August 22, 1987 <br /> as requested, lir. Hanson seconded the motion. Ir. Lawrence ab- <br /> stained from voting. Mrs. Thomas and Mr. Carter voted in favor o <br /> the motion, <br /> 2. Fire Department - High Bard Radios . In a memorandum <br /> dated July 21, 1987, Acting Chief Chase requested that the Fire <br /> Department be issued the 5 High band old police radios mobile <br /> radios and 3 High bard 'porta.bles , Action was deferred on this <br /> matter. <br /> 3. Letter of interest - constable a. ointment. Howland <br /> Arora expressed his interest in being appointed as constable for <br /> the Town in his letter of interest dated July 20, 1987o Mr. Murphy <br /> stated that there are currently three constables . Mr. Hanson sug- <br /> gested that the - appointment of Howland Evora. be 11put on hold" until <br /> and unless needed. Mrs . Thomas stated , "I have no problem with Mr. <br /> Arora, being appointed -a.s 6onstable whatsoever" . <br /> 4. Bobby Byrnes Pub - Dols on Light JOK Run, liro Murphy <br /> stated that Bobby Byrnes Pub has requested a, one-da license for the <br /> sale of malt beverages which would be outside their licensed premises <br /> in conjunction with the 10K run. Proceeds from the sale of beer will <br /> go to the "Everyone Swims"' buildin' g fund for the YMCA. lir. Gottlieb <br /> moved that the Board of Selectmen grant a. one-day license to Bobby <br /> Byrnes Bub for the sale of beer.
