<br /> Pres erg ; B. Jean Thomas , Chairwoman; Jeremy Carter; Andrew Gottlieb;
<br /> Willard Hanson; Peter lawrence. Joseph Murphy,y, Executive Secretary,
<br /> was also present. Mr. Carter entered the meeting a 5 P. M. Mr.
<br /> Hanson entered the meeting a 7:15 P. M.
<br /> The Chairwoman convened the meeting at- 7: 00 P. Me
<br /> Mr. Gottlieb amended the .minutes of the -regular- meeting held on,
<br /> July -20 , 1987 , item dealing with Funds for two Special Town Meeti
<br /> articles , to read, "Mr. #'-Murphy- explai.ne d. that after discussing this
<br /> ratter with Selectman Gottlieb, who has discussed it further with .
<br /> Mr. Fudala, it is felt that with funding available from the Central
<br /> Services Account to provide office supplies and postage , from J., ga.l
<br /> and Engineering to provide legal assistance , and from the Sewage
<br /> Lagoon Study consultants who would provide technical assistance , that •
<br /> the amount of money needed for expenses could be reduced to $5000
<br /> Mr. Murphy recommended' that the $500. be transferred from the Municipal .
<br /> Board Expense Account'? , with that amendment,ent lir, Gottlieb moved to
<br /> accept the minutes of the regular Meeting and Executive Session held
<br /> on July 20, T9 Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion. Mrs . Thomas
<br /> voted in favor of this motion,

<br /> I. Bill Jones , Chairman of the water Commissioners '
<br /> Regarding the. Intermunicipal Agreement with the Town of Falmouth,
<br /> Mr. Jones reported that a letter has been seat to the Finance Committee
<br /> summarizing proceedings of a. meeting held on July 29, 1987 with Richard
<br /> Witt , Utilities Manager to the Falmouth Department of public works
<br /> The letter, gaited July 30, 19 , explains that Mr, Witt expressed-

<br /> Ir. Jones referred to a, letter dated July 30, 1987 from
<br /> Douglas S . Storrs , vice President of High wood water Company, Inc.
<br /> Ir. Jones stated that an understanding was reached that complete candor
<br /> will be observed during negotiations , In response to Mr, Storrs '
<br /> question as to who will be responsible for decision raking, which en...
<br /> -ti-t - .will be directing the project, and who High Wood waiter Company
<br /> should be working with to finalize the necessary agreements for the
<br /> Summerwood-Ashers Path water project, it was suggested that a. aeg.
<br /> o+tia.tin,g team be appointed next week to consist Of two. members of the
<br /> Board of Selectmen, water Commissioners , ars attorney, and possibly a .
<br /> member of the Planning Board and the Town Planner as advisors , I
<br /> was agreed that the Finance Committee should be kept informed of all
<br /> proceedings of the negotiations . This matter will be put on the agenda
