Sel . o t l i b seconded, Vote : Unanimous. Communication from Atm.. James Cass re, Claim for Damages The Board reviewed a letter dated August 13 from Atty,, Cassidy, who is representing Robert B. Kennedy, in a formal claim for damages pursuant to Ma. General Laws, Chapter 258, Section 4, The Executive Secretary told the Board that Mr . Kennedy owns a lot of land which is impacted by the present course of Great Oak Road. Mr . Kennedy alleges that the encroachment has rendered the property unbu i l dabl a and unuseable . As Town Counsel is workingon this, no action b the Board was taken at this time. Communication from Mrs. Bryant The Board reviewed a letter dated July 25 from hers. William Bryant relative to the seating arrangement for non-voters at town meeting. Sel . Thomas pointed out that hers. Bryant would l i e to have chairs rather than bleachers to sit on. Sel . Thomas asked that the letter be forwarded to Town Clerk t see if she could come Grp with something acceptable and comfortable . Article for Board's Review The Board had before them an article from the Town Accountant which was previously reviewed by the Board. It is requesting additional monies for the Town Accountant's Wage Account which would assure a total of fourteen hours per week of additional help to the Accountant office for fiscal 1988. The Executive Secretary asked that it be included on the Special Town Meeting Warrant as he would have a recommenda- tion comm nda- tion of where the money ou l d come from within a week or so. He said a lot would depend upon how soon the water district would be doing its implementation, The additional time . needed would depend upon whether the town would be operating a water department and how long. The Board members were in agreement to include the article on the November 2 Special Town Meeting. Adjournment of Meetin The Executive Secretary advised the Board that they may want to move into Executive e ion to discuss items pending litigation , one item which will be an issue of strategy relative to collective bargaining and two issues relative to a labor grievance , Town Counsel said another issue would be discussed relative to a potential conflict between the Water District and the Town .
