Carter replied "Yes." Sel . Thomas said that she would hope so but she did not hear Ron Watson say that when they were sitting down talking. Roy aced if they would be doing another round of testing in the area's Sel . Thomas replied that they said they would do another two rounds of testing in the Ashumet area. Roy said that he heaped they would not do another five minute test and that the Selectmen would be remiss s if they let them. e 1 # Thomas a i d that was something they could bring u # Barbara Eecar asked if it would be beneficial for Briarwood to have a representative go to Washington, D.C. rather than send letters. Sel , Thomas said at some point it may have to take place. However , right now, Congressman Studds, Senator Doane , Representative Cahir are waiting for a signal from i them. Sel . Thomas said they are not going to know when the; need their push until they start their negotiations. gentlemen said that he thought the Water Commissioners were sworn i n r Town Counsel said that the Town Water Commis- sioners ormi - sioner are as opposed to Water District Commissioners. He said that the Town Wafter Commissioners have to report back to the Board of Selectmen . The gentlemen asked how the Water District omm i i oner come to be el * Garter said that October 26 is an election for the District Commissioners. Town Counsel said that the Town Water Commissioners would go out of business when the Water District comes i n . NEW BUSINESS: Approval of Int i l i t Request #9593 of Commonwealth Electric The Board reviewed a request from Commonwealth Electric Company and New England Telephone and Telegraph Company to install two poles and remove three poles on great Neck Road North t o serve residents in the area of Fish Hou a Road, el * Lawrence roved that the Ut i l i t Request t #9593 be granted. The Executive Secretary asked the Board if they wished to schedule a date for interviews.)
