Hellar� � rAxe virgili d Peters and Press <br /> �5 <br /> Selectman Thomas convened the-meeting at 7 p.m. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Selectman Gottlieb moved to accept the executive session minutes of August 31, <br /> 1987 with the following amendments: _ <br /> Page 7. , Paragraph 2 should read November Town Meeting instead of <br /> December Town Meeting. <br /> Page 8. , Paragraph 4 should read 39A and 38A not 30A. <br /> Page 1 . , Paragraph 1 should be SCC not FCC. <br /> Selectman Lawrence seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 7:00 - Selectmen conducted a public hearing relative to three amendments proposed <br /> by the Shellfish Commission. <br /> The three amendments were as follows: <br /> R <br /> 1 When using any type of basket rake all cull material shall be <br /> returned to the water where it was taken. <br /> Any holes dry-dug between high and low mean water shall be <br /> Filled after shellf ishing. <br /> To allow Grant Holders to hold a commercial shellfish permit. <br /> Selectman Hanson moved to adopt the three proposed amendments. Selectman <br /> Lawrence seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> The Beard reviewed a proposed amendment to the Town' "Policy Statement <br /> - n vehicle Use . The amendment would allow the Shellfish Warden the same <br /> tax advantage most town employees who are assigned- and authorized to <br /> commute with a Town vehicle. Without the amendment the hellf ish Warden <br /> will have to pay taxes on the-benefit of using the vehicle and the <br /> Treasurer gill have to collect the tax. <br />
