BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTE <br /> MONDAY, DECEMBER 14, 1987 - Regular Session <br /> Present: leetmen Thomas,- Carter -and Gottlieb, and Executive Secretary, Joseph <br /> Murphy <br /> Selectmen Lawrence and Hanson were meeting with the Personnel Board <br /> relative to fire chief interviews and arrived at 7:35 p.m. <br /> Guests: Dave Ryan, Sue Billings, Elizabeth Petti, Tony F iorentini, Andy Eliason <br /> 'like Pietrowski, Marie Scalley, Vernon Thomas, Robert Mills <br /> Selectman Thomas convened the meeting at 7 p.m. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 7:00 - Selectmen were scheduled to meet with Department Heads to discuss <br /> consistency of Town Hall operating hours. <br /> No one was in attendance. <br /> Selectman Carter suggested this be put on the agenda of the first inter- <br /> departmental meeting. <br /> 7;07 Andrew Eliason, Chairman of the Cable Advisory Committee met with Selectmen <br /> to request the Board authorize the Cable Committee to initiate the licensing <br /> process for cable service in Mashpee on or about January 14, 1988. <br /> Mr. Eliason outlined the time frame involved. <br /> S 1ectman Carter moved to authorize the Cable Advisory Committee to start <br /> the licensing process effective January 14, 1988. Selectman Gottlieb <br /> seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> 7:25 - Selectmen met with Colonel Keating, Bill .Sullivan and Lt. Quenneville who <br /> gage a slide presentation explaining the AICUZ Plan <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1 Selectmen discussed a proposal submitted by Selectman Thomas relative to <br /> salaries of the Fire Chief and Deputy Chief. <br /> No action was taken. <br /> The Personnel Board recommended an amendment to' the Personnel Administration <br /> Plan regarding Christmas Eve being a half holiday paid. <br /> The Board agreed to let their vote -of last week stand, <br /> Selectman Thomas asked as to the status of Elinor's Cove Road. <br /> Selectman Lawrence explained that the inspection of the road was complete and <br /> the road would not be plowed. <br />
