He further asked <br /> for a date as to when he could expect .thea to be completed. <br /> i <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARING s <br /> oo - Dave Ryan, shellfish Constable met with the Board. to discuss a special <br /> permit granted by the Board of Appeals .for a dock. located .at Lot 67 <br /> Waterline Drive. <br /> Mr.- Ryan expressed concern over the lack of notification to the Town <br /> of Mashpee as an abuttor. He further expressed .concern over the fact <br /> that the dock is adjacent to a public landing off Great Oak Road and <br /> is commonly used as public anchorage for small boats, <br /> The Board suggested r-. yan -adress his concerns to Town Counsel. <br /> Mr. Ryan also discussed a donation of lana from Mr. William Armstrong <br /> located at the mouth of Great River on Monomoscoy Island. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 selectman Lawrence moved to approve the jury list dated December 11, . 1987 <br /> as submitted. Selectman Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> Selectmen reviewed a contract from SEA which- outlined the scope of services <br /> relative to negotiations with the Department of Defense. <br /> Selectman Gottlieb moved to -accept the Scope of Services. -Contract with a <br /> limit not -to exceed $5,000 and further that $3,420 come from Legal and <br /> Engineering and $1,580 come from the water Commission Consulting services <br /> account, selectman Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> Mr-,-.Murphy asked the Board to discuss -items they would 1.i t to include <br /> in the F9 -Capital Program. <br /> It was agreed to look into the need to renovate or build a. new town hall. <br /> Selectman Danson will look into a .town hall building needs committee. <br /> Acting Fire Chief Thomas proposed an increase in ambulance fees. The <br /> proposed increase would be $75., basic fee plus per- loaded mile. The <br /> present fee is $35 basic fee- plus $2 per�loaded mile. <br /> Selectman Lawrence moved to adopt the proposed ambulance- fee -.increase. <br /> Selectman Manson seconded the motion. All present were -in favor, <br />
