Th!e rc-4quest of the Town Planner to upgrade the positicin of <br /> Assistabt Tcmn Planner fr-cim gra- de 11 to grade 13 was <br /> discusE,ed and agreed to discuss again at R_ later time. Mr. <br /> Murphy stated that this position ri-iay nc-led to be <br /> 10 T he Board discussed thc-� r-equest of the Town Accountant for <br /> a 25 hour perwe-ek bookkeeper/data emtry clerk and agreed to <br /> support the reque:st. <br /> Cirad.e Il clerk was discussed and the Boar-d agreed to support <br /> the r%equestgf <br /> 31 The Board decided not to suppf--jr-t the request from the <br /> Pc-er-scinnel Board for 15 hour �lcaur weciek- clerk. <br /> 4. The Conservation Commission requested a 30 hour per meek <br /> secretary. The Board aareed to support the position, but <br /> not at 30 hours per meek. Mr. Gottlieb stated that he mould <br /> work with LIsa Hanscom to determine what is involved in the <br /> pusition, Mrs. Jacobson stepped down,, <br /> 5. The Department of Public Works requestd two full —time truck <br /> drivers/laborers. The Board agreed not to make a decision <br /> on the issue at this time. DPW also requested a full—time <br /> secretary. Mr. Murphy advised the Board that a position is <br /> nmcessary, but that the number of hours required needs to be <br /> reviewed. Mr. Murphy stated that the request from the <br /> Department of Public Works for a foreman and three workers <br /> for the transfer station would be part of a series of <br /> articles involving the transfer station. <br /> 6. The Board discussed the requests from the Fire Department <br /> for four dispatchers and from the Police Department for a <br /> sergeant to start in January, 1990 and three patrol <br /> officers; one to start in September, 1989 and tmo to start <br /> in January, 1990, The Board directed Mr. Murphy to schedule <br /> a meeting with the Police and Fire Chief for further <br /> discussion of the matter. <br />| / <br />| | <br />
