Mr, Gottlieb moved to approve a step increase for <br /> Firefighter levin Long from step 3 to step 4 to be effective <br /> March 17, 1989. Mr. Carter 5econded the motion. All were <br /> in favor. <br /> Mr. Gott1ieb moved to approve a step increase for <br /> Firefighter/Paramedic Glenn Milliken from step 3 to step <br /> to be effective March 17, 1989# Mr. Hanson seconded the <br /> motion. All were in favor. <br /> . The Board noted a communication from the Cambridge City <br /> I Council regarding bills relative to control over the siting <br /> I <br /> f heliports, <br /> Mr. Gott 1 i e moved to include an article on the warrant for <br /> the May I Special Town Meeting authorizing the appropriation <br /> of $37,000 for use in correcting the Fox H i t i' Estates <br /> subdivision roadways, secondly, to have the Town accept the <br /> provisions of Chapter 245 of the Acts of 1388. Mr. Carter <br /> seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> There was discussion regarding the Employee Assistance <br /> Program. Mr. Murphy explained to the Board that the <br /> Firefighters' Union was not in favor of the program and <br /> wanted something more comprehensive. Chief Ridgeway felt <br /> that the Program should be offered to his department. <br /> Mr. Garter moved to approve the proposal of Gape God Council <br /> on Alcoholism, Inc. to provide an Employee Assisince Program <br /> to the Town at a cost of 12 per employee. Mr. Gottlieb <br /> seconded the motion. A 1 1 were in favor, Mr, Murphy stated <br /> that the funds would come from the Town Insurance Account, <br /> The Beard noted a communication from Massachusetts Package <br /> Stores Association, Inc, relative to Techniques of Alcohol <br /> Management. <br />
