t <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES REGULAR SESSION <br /> WEBNES A : MAY 1 • 1989 <br /> PAGE THREE <br /> OTHER OLID BUSINESS <br /> 1 (Cont. ) <br /> Mr. Lawrence roved to send a letter to Commissioner <br /> Gutenson relative to repairs to Great Oak Road being done <br /> Immediately and informing him that the Board of Selectmen <br /> has instructed the South Cape Beach Advisory Committee to <br /> cease and desist all discussions with the State concerning <br /> anything to do with the Park until major repairs are rade <br /> to the Road so that taxpayers are able to get to their r Town <br /> Beach. Mr. Carter seconded the motion stating that the <br /> letter should be sent certified/return receipt requested. <br /> A 1 1 were in favor. <br /> 1r. Carter asked how the transition would be handled if Mr. <br /> Murphy is to leave the employ of the Town. her. Gottlieb <br /> stated that there are consulting services available. <br /> . Mr. Gottlieb asked if Mr. McGroary of the Division Law <br /> Enforcement had responded the the invitation to meet with <br /> the Board, Mr, Murphy stated that there was no response to <br /> date. The Board authorized Mr. Gottlieb to pursue the <br /> matter directly with the Commissioner. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 11 Mr. Carter moved to accept the Bid of International n Cape <br /> Cod to provide food and soft dr i irk concessions at South <br /> Cape Beach, Attaquin Park and John's Pond Park. The <br /> submitted bid was $1 ,675,00, Mrs. Jacobson seconded the <br /> motion, All were in favor. <br /> Mrs. Jacobson moved to adept Change Order Number 1 <br /> submitted by the School Building Committee. Mr. Lawrence <br /> seconded the motion and Mr. Hanson was In favor. Mr. <br /> Carter abstained. <br />
