Mr. <br /> Carter stated that he perferred not to accept this bid, <br /> Bine the next 1w bid was for an additional $2,000, Mr. <br /> Carter agreed to request the Finance Committee to transfer <br /> funds so that this bid could be accepted, <br /> i <br /> OTHER OLD BUSINESS <br /> 11 Mr. Hanson raised the issue of great Oak load and what the <br /> status was on repairs to the road s1ne full scale beach <br /> operations will be underway soon, Nr. Lawrence stated that <br /> Mr. Kumor of BEM was scheduled to cone to Mashpee this week <br /> to discuss the problems of Great Oak Road and to view the <br /> property, Mr . Virgilio was directed to present proposals <br /> at next week f s meeting relative to the Town repairing the <br /> road. <br /> Mr. Carter asked for a status on the traffic situation on <br /> High Sachem Road. Mr. Murphy responded that residents <br /> would attend a Board meeting in June. <br /> The Board Voted unanimously to authorize the vice-chairman <br /> o execute on behalf of the Town the grant agreement with <br /> the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on leaf composting; <br /> subject to final confirmation from Town Coun5el as to the <br /> contract agreement with the state. Mr. Gottlieb abstained. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 11 Mr. Carter moved to postpone the meeting scheduled for <br /> wednesdaro July 5, 1989. Mr, Hanson seconded the motion. <br /> All were in favor. <br />
