BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, 1AY 22v 1989 <br /> PAGE SIX <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 2 . Mr. Carter moved to appoint Andrew Gottlieb to serve on the <br /> Community Advisory Board for the Upper Cape Cancer <br /> Incidence Study funded by the Department of Public Health, <br /> Mr , Hanson seconded the motion. Mr. Lawrence and Mrs. <br /> Jacobson were in favor, <br /> The Board received a letter from Nancy Richardson relative <br /> to a steel boat storage rack that has been erected on the <br /> property of -Little River ver Boat Yard. Mr. Murphy was <br /> directed to respond to Ms . Richardson stating that the <br /> Board had received her 'letter and is a s i t i nq an opinion <br /> from the Board of Appeals on the matter, <br /> Mr. Carter moved to authorize the chairman to s i n a letter <br /> from SE ABS Partnership relative to the waste Acquisition <br /> Agreement. Mrs, Jacobson seconded the mot I on, A 1 1 were i n <br /> favor. <br />' 5, Mr. Carter moved to grant a request from Cape Cod Hospital <br /> Aid Assoc i tion to solicit funds for the Radiation Therapy <br /> Center in the Town on August 10, IB . her. Hanson seconded <br /> the motion. All were in favor. <br /> Mrs, Jacobson addressed a letter of concern relative to the <br /> intersection of Quinaqui5set Avenue and Route 28 signed y <br /> several Mashpee residents. Mrs . Jacobson stated that she <br /> would forward this letter, awlon with statistics of <br /> accidents occurring at the intersection to Senator <br /> aus hent ach <br /> Mr. Carter moved to grant permission to the Massachusetts <br /> Audubon Society to erect a fence around the nesting area on <br /> Popponest Spit for protection of Piping Plovers and Least <br /> Terns, Mr, Hanson seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br />
