BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY9 JUNE 5t 1989 <br /> PATE THREE <br /> C <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1 (Cont. <br /> Mr. Lawrence roved to notify the South Cape Beach State <br /> Park Advisory Committee that the Board of Selectmen will <br /> take responsibility for negotiations with DEM on all issues <br /> relating to Town Beach and Great oak Road. Mr. Manson <br /> seconded the motion. A 1 1 were in favor , <br /> Mr . Hanson volunteered to sit in on negotiations with DEM <br /> and the Board agreed to request the Committee to appoint a <br /> member to work with Mr. Hanson on this . <br /> A meeting will be scheduled for June 22,, 1989 -at 6:00 .m. <br /> with the Board of Selectmen, Mr, Reardon, and a member of <br /> the South Cape Beach State Park Advisory Committee to ; <br /> discuss negotiations . <br /> It was agreed that a communication would be sent to the <br /> State informing thea of the votes of the Board, <br /> The Board voted unanimously to rescind its Grote directing <br /> the South Casae Beach State Park Advisory sort' Corer i ee to <br /> discontinue all discussions with the State relative to the <br /> Park. <br /> The Board received a letter from the Ma hpee Senior Center <br /> Building Committee requesting that the liaison to the <br /> Building Commi ttee be the sane liaison as that of the <br /> Council on Aging. The Board agreed to this request. <br /> The Board received a letter from Saue) Sinker of Cranberry <br /> } <br /> Avenue, Mashpee questioning whir there is not a member of <br /> the Board of Health on the negotiating committee with Otis <br /> Air Force Base. The Board authorized Mr. Gottlieb to <br /> respond to Mr, Singer explaining the process used i <br /> setting up negotiating teams. <br />
