r BOARD of SELECTMEN MINUTES REGULAR SESSION MON AI vJUNE 26, 1989 PAGE FIVE OLD BUSINESS (Cont. ) Mrs, Jacobson moved to appoint Robert Sullivan to the Personnel Board for a one year terry, Mr. Hanson seconded the motion. Mr. Gottlieb was opposed. Mr, Carter abstained, No appointment was made due to the fact that only two out of four members Voted in the affirmative. Mr. Carter abstained, Mr. Gottlieb stated that he had received a memo from Selectman Lawrence who was not present stating that he was opposed to t h e appointment of N r. Coffey. . Mr. Manson stated that he was opposed duce to the fact that Mr. Coffey also serves on the Planning Board and he felt that being on two cr i t i c l boards would be too much of workload. Mrs, Jacobson mored that the Vote be reconsidered. Mr. Gottlieb seconded the motion. Mr. Gottlieb suggested that Mr. Coffer be appointed as an Associate Member for a one year term. her, Hanson was in agreement and stated that the appointment should be postponed for two weeks so that he may spear with her. The Board agreed to schedule a meeting wi the the South Cape Beach State Park Advisory Committee on June 29, 1989 at 7: 00 p.m, 10 . The Housing Authority provided to the Board a copy of the front page of the application for Chapter 667 and 705 Elderly and Family Housin indicating that the Board of Selectmen waived standards greater than the State Building Code or the State Sanitary Code in NoVer ber v 1984.
